Luxury Resort Getaway, anyone?

Wow! Where do I start. Hotel Keyforest HOKUTO is a relatively new hotel, created by an esteemed Japanese artist inspired by the regions culture and history. The images on the site really don't do the place justice despite them also being beautiful the rooms are incredibly spacious, and well equipped. The hotel went above and beyond my expectations of a hotel room by including fancy teacups, a hotel guide and FAQ presented in a wooden binder (gorgeous), the most precious coffee cups for in-suite coffee and yoga mats! Everything looked larger in the room than in the picture. I imagine it would be a great place to visit with friends on an outdoor adventure. The hotel property itself is quite extensive and offers many activities, has their own museum (with is free with hotel admission) restaurant and bar. The staff at the hotel would undeniably the most lovely people. At the moment they are in the process of hiring more staff but that did not affect the attentiveness and helpfulness of the employees there. I felt I connected with each one of them as they left a lasting impression on me. The hotel provides hotel cars to nearby locations (which is incredibly helpful in Hokuto since everything is far away and there is not a lot of convenient in-city transportation). The staff are happy and willing to pick you and drop you off at the hotel and answer any of your questions in English or Japanese (and others I'm sure). I'm extremely happy with my stay - I recommend this hotel!

星を観に行ったのですが、満月の光が明るすぎて、あまり見えませんでした。でも、スタッフの方が夜、寒い中望遠鏡をセッティングしてくださり、月のクレーターまでハッキリ見える、というとても素敵な体験ができました。次は新月に行きたいです。

初めての利用でした。外側の奇抜なデザインでしたが、中はぬくもりが感じられるインテリア。　余分な注意書きのようなものもなく、調度品も溶け込んでいてリラックスできる空間は最高です。従業員もフレンドリーでよかったです。バーは価格が高過ぎる。ロックを2杯づつ二人で飲んで￥8000越えは宿泊客用のバーとしては料金設定は変えないとリピーターは減るでしょう。夕食のレストランのサービスのちぐはぐなところ、ワインをまだ飲んでいるのに、平気でデザートをもってくる無神経なサービスには驚きました。

秘密にしておきたいくらい素敵なホテル

この度は大変お世話になりました。予約後の確認連絡や温泉施設が利用不可の電話連絡を頂きとても丁寧でした。こだわりのある建物、掃除の行き届いたお部屋、フロアのインテリアなどとても素敵なホテルでした。またご厚意でお部屋のグレードアップや近くへの送迎もして頂き有難うございました。星空を楽しみにしていましたが当日は雪となり星空は見れませんでしたが雪景色を堪能できました。またバーでのスタッフの方との会話も弾み楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。世界に一つしかない『キースヘリング美術館』も見学できとても満足でした。次回は星空を見れる事を楽しみに再訪したいと思います。支配人様、スタッフの方の優しいお気遣いに感謝致します。
