Everything very clean and up to date. Staff very nice and good hot breakfast with many choices . Only suggestion is sofa bed needs a better mattress. My kids who slept in it complained of achy backs today.

Unauthorized charging
I booked option book now pay later at property. I was about 2 hours out of town heading to my destination and I get an alert that I was charged. I checked my account and see that I was charged half the cost of my stay. Which was only 2 nights. I called the concierge and she didn’t know what happened and called it a “glitch” so I asked what time is check in and she said 4 PM. This is Hollister CA and they are not allowing checking in until 4? That’s ridiculous. But whatever. I get there and check in at around 4 and the rest of the bill was charged. So my full 2 nights and deposit were charged. Next morning I wake up and I get charged again for another nights which was 178. So by this time I’m already charged a total 534 and that’s not including the holding deposit. I call the front desk and front desk said they will have the manager call me when they go in which was in 10 min. This is at 8 in the morning. I finally get ready and go to the front desk to talk to front desk and the girl says she’s the manager. I was annoyed and said I’ve been waiting for you to contact me about the issue with my bill. She said “oh yeah, we were just looking at that “ which was 3 hours later. So I’m annoyed and asked what are they going to do about this because they charged me twice without my permission. She said the refund will take 7-14 business days. I just stared at her with an obvious look that showed I was not satisfied. Her customer service was horrible. I won’t be staying here anymore.

Restful nite after Hikes at Pinnacle Nat Park
love our room . Spacious .cabinet , drawers . adequate space to place luggages ( not on the ground ) , hooks, bathroom size 🙏👍the place is new . parking has good lighting . breakfast good . needs at least vegan milk like almond or oat milk . 45min 1 hour away from Pinnacle Nat Park.

Always a good choice!
We always choose Holiday Inn Express and have never been disappointed! This is our 2nd stay at the Hollister property. The only tiny “concern” was that the shower spigot didn’t fully open so the shower head pressure wasn’t very good. Otherwise everything else was 👍👍👍👍
