Relax with the whole family at this sweet, peaceful place to stay. The Beehive Room at Latter Day Covenant Farm is centered in the great Texas Prairie. Explore the hidden swings, find the catfish pond, and walk in the woods. Our little studio has a 'purple' mattress for great sleep right in the middle of the country- wifi, a/c, kitchen comforts. 10 minutes to Bois D'arc Lake, 5 minutes to town, and no time at all to peace and quiet. Plenty of room for kids to run & grown-ups to kick back :) Safe Haven Retreat is 25 acres of Texas Woodland Prairie. The wind comes whistlin' down the plains from the Red River and your energy comes up!

We have two ponds in the wet season, lots of woods to explore, hidden swings to enjoy. We raised our 9 children here and now have it set up for our 26 grandchildren.

We have an organic garden, fruit and berry bushes and chickens. It's a great place to get away. Hope you'll join us!
Honey Grove is said to have been named by Davy Crockett. The story goes that on his way to the Alamo, Davy stopped in this area and saw a beautiful grove of Bee Trees. Because of the abundant honey available from the hives built into the trees, he named the wooded hills Honey Grove. We've been here 30 years and simply love it. The people are lovely, the rolling hills beautiful and the peace is heavenly.
