La Roseraie apartment is located in a small building named Sainte-Victoire. La Roseraie is on the north-facing first floor and on the south-facing ground floor of a shipowner's house. Thanks to this orientation, you will be able to enjoy a 200 sq.m south-facing garden in a very peaceful setting.
The apartment consists of a large living area which includes a kitchen and a dining room; it is separated from the living room by a glass wall. The living room opens onto the garden. There is a double bedroom with private bathroom. During the renovation of the apartment, we made sure to maintain the authenticity that the shipowner had given to the building.
Make yourself comfortable in this apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker, and housekeeping is provided on request.

Great stay in charming building
Well maintained yet historically accurate space. This is not the place for you if you're looking for cookie cutter, boring places. If you appreciate the character and idiosyncrasies of older buildings you will love this place ❤️. My only regret is, due to cool weather, we weren't able to take advantage of the lovely private garden. Though we did have front row seats for watching a seagull couple build their nest on the adjacent rooftop!

Fantastique!
This was a perfect apartment for us - very cool, light and airy during a hot week. It was especially nice to have the garden at the back and it was really quiet and private, despite being so close to the centre of town. The bed was comfy, the shower was good, Claire was lovely and everything was great! The parking was only 5 mins away and consisted of an individual lock-up garage (payable separately). Perfection - we'll stay here again!

Very good location
This apartment is well located. You can have parking about 1/2 mile away for 10€ per night. The access to the apartment is difficult with large suitcases. Fortunately there was a young man there at the time to help us. The apartment is not well decorated( looks like flea market pieces). It is clean and quiet. It is fine for a short stay.

Manager/owner very helpful and on top of things. This apartment is a generous comfortable space with high ceilings and old world paneling/exquisite fireplace surround and mirror. Fleur-de-lis parquet floors and a large southerly garden behind. It feels like France. And in an OLD CITY, an appropriate place to stay. Walk to everything.

Great place to stay
We had a very enjoyable week. The location was perfect; a short stroll in to Honfleur and also just metres from a little supermarket. Loads of cafes and restaurants in Honfleur which is a beautiful place. Nearby are other beaches, pretty villages in the cider area and plenty of other places to visit. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable and had everything we needed. The garage parking organised by Claire was nearby. Thank you Claire.

What a gem!

Fantastic Stay
My husband and I spent a wonderful 10 days in Honfleur at Claire’s apartment. It was within walking distance of everything that Honfleur has to offer, including a small grocery store just next door. Although Honfleur was busy, we were far enough away that we didn’t here anything. I would recommend this property for a couple, especially if they want privacy but easy access to the highlights of Honfleur.

Great location and lovely apartment with its own private backyard. Exactly like photos. Large windows allow breeze in hot weather. Unit has a washing machine and is well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils but the only condiments are salt & pepper. Bring your own laundry soap and toilet paper. Honfleur is incredibly beautiful. Well worth visiting.

Nice apartment in great location
We have given this property five stars because we enjoyed our stay and appreciated Claire's willingness to meet us when we arrived earlier than the normal check-in. We also appreciated the secure parking provided at a reasonable charge. We have a few suggestions for improvements the owner might consider. There is a coffee maker but no filters, coffee or sugar. There is a washing machine but no detergent. These are not items international travelers pack with them especially given luggage constraints and a full itinerary of moving from place to place every few days. Additionally, the outdoor space is potentially lovely but was rather overgrown and unkempt when we were there at the end of May. Regardless this is a great place to stay when visiting Honfleur.

Idyllic in every way
This flat is absolutely wonderful. The flat is spotless, it’s furnishings are lovely, the kitchen is well equipped, it has a terrific shower, parking access is convenient, and it has a private, lovely and secure garden. The location is perfect - just a few minutes stroll to all that Honfluer offers. There is a supermarket nearby and, if you are a Brit and travelling with dogs, there is a great vet about 5 minutes walk from the flat. Claire was very patient with me, as I had messed up the booking and caused her some inconvenience as a result. She was also on hand to greet my partner and I and was helpful in her suggestions. I would happily stay here again, and in fact very much hope to do so. Kelly V

Honfleur with magic weather great combination
We loved our 3 nights at Claire’s apartment, fabulous location , really central , walked everywhere. Was lovely to have a small garden, and the pictures accurately reflect the spacious accommodation. We took up Claire’s offer of private paid parking and didn’t use our car whilst there. We enjoyed being able to return home for a break and watch the world go by as we recharged to explore further. Chic apartment, quiet yet central
We were puzzled by the description of the configuration of this apartment, as it claimed to have a garden- which it does, a quite spacious and very private one. However, because of the slope of the hillside into which the house is built, the apartment is actually on the first floor, and approached by a flight of outside stone steps. This is a little surprising when you are not expecting it! Inside, the one bedroomed flat is all on the level, elegantly furnished and with delightful period architectural details, such as a marquetry floor and carved wood panelling. The practical things, kitchen, bathroom, bed, are very satisfactory as well. Visitors do need to remember, however, that Honfleur is a popular destination, that public parking prices reflect this, so Claire’s offer of a garage to rent for the duration of your stay, at 7 euros a day, is well worth taking up. Myself, husband and cocker spaniel all had a very enjoyable stay.

Gorgeous apartment in a great location.
This was our final stop off for a couple of nights before returning to the UK and it was a beautiful place to end our holiday. The apartment is full of character and in a perfect spot in Honfleurs, a few minutes walk to the old harbour, and the bars, restaurants and shops. It was lovely and clean, a nice size for 2 of us, and having a garden was a great little extra. We were able to lock our car away in a secure garage, although there was a charge for this, which isn't clear from the information given. This was 7 euros per day, which isn't a lot but it's worth being aware of. Also, if, like us, you have a roof box on your car, speak to Claire about a garage that can accommodate this. Claire was there to greet us, and was incredibly helpful with her information about the apartment and Honfleurs. We would definitely stay here again.

Calm gem in the middle of Honfleur
The photos for this property appealed to us, so we as soon as we laid our eyes on them. I can honestly say the photos do 100% justice to the property - it really is as cosy, fab and full of character as it looks! We had overlooked the fact that the flat was bang in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Honfleur village, but as the building is somewhat withdrawn from the street, plus really good glazing of all windows, it was completely silent and calm inside. Even outside, in the private sunny garden at the back, away from the road, you had no idea you were next to a major road. We sat outside at all hours of the day and all we could hear was the birds singing! Claire was very friendly and all communication has been prompt and clear. The property was neat, comfortable, spacious, all amenities included in the kitchen and bathroom (the washing machine was much appreciated during the heatwave we had while being there!) We simply loved the place, and if I had the money, this is exactly the kind of property I would buy! We will definitely come back, Honfleur is a perfect location for doing day trips. We have absolutely no complaints, we would recommend anyone to rent this little gem for a nice holiday by the sea, close to the harbour and all nice restaurants.

Fantastique, nous l’avons adore!
La Roseraie is a really fantastic apartment, right in the heart of Honfleur. On a scale of 1 to 10, most definitely a 10. We spent 4 nights there as a stopover on our way to Cognac, we wish we could have stayed longer it was just so lovely. Every need catered for, we felt very at home and we were made so very welcome by Claire & Mathilde. Our dog Charlie was also made most welcome which was great.We hope to return to Honfleur and would definitely choose to stay a second time. Merci Claire for a very memorable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights in Le Roserie . Honfleur is a great little town & Claire's apartment is close to everything. She gave us a fabulous restaurant recommendation. I cannot remember the name but if you stay im sure she'll only be too happy to recommend it as its her favourite as well!! The apartment is bright, light & extremely functional. We loved our stay here...did not want to leave!
Claire's apartment is the PERFECT place to stay in Honfleur! The location is the best...a very short walk to the harbor. It is a quiet neighborhood with a patisserie, boucherie, grocery store and bank almost next door. There are so many restaurants and cafes. The seafood is the best I have ever had and we live on the Gulf Coast. We loved the large Saturday market and small Wednesday market and cooked several times. The kitchen had everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor patio and garden. The roses and lavender were in full bloom. The apartment is bright and spacious with lots of windows. Claire is so helpful in every way. She helped us get luggage up the stairs and drove our car with my husband to the car park. She is deliightful and her English is great. Parking is quite dfficult in this area but Claire owns 5 spots that are very close. Be sure to reserve one. Our apartment was the best because we walked thru our garden and down an alley to get to it. The back street was where the patisserie and boucherie were located. We stayed for 10 days and were so sad to leave our new French home and friend, Claire. We can't wait to return to La Roseraie!

Just a great spot!
We stayed here for 6 nights. Claire is such a delight.There to meet us, show us around the apt. give us ideas for restaurants, etc. The apt was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Bed was just fine, and the location is very quiet. We will be going back, soon I hope.
