Overall, the stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean and had plenty of storage. The area around the facility was good and easy access to buses and the tram. Some downsides, the room's outlets didnt work with the hair dryer that was provided and the exercise room lacked luster as it only had 2 small exercise bikes a tiny treadmill and one bench with a few weights.

The room was cleaned but not clean. I found almonds under the bed and in the corner of the room by the window I found candy wrappers. The smell of mold permeated the rooms and halls to the point it appears as if the staff is noseblind to it. I was given the opportunity to switch to other rooms but they smelled just as bad. I bought baking soda to help neutralize some of the odor but the smell was so bad I actually stayed somewhere else for part of my stay. For the cost it was not worth it.

We arrived on the date when Hong Kong was hit by a super typhoon. Appreciate their staff stick to work, to provide us a place to stay & most importantly, food to survive during the typhoon. The front desk staff also advise us to get bottle water & cup noodles from the convenient store & breads from the bakery nearby as even the hotel might not have enough food for everyone. They usually just provide buffet breakfast but offer lunch as well on the typhoon day. They have the self service laundry & you can pay by Octopus card (which is very popular in Hong Kong for transports & food). The only problem is their email got bounce back, no responses by message & phone. Maybe it’s just the chaotic situation of the typhoon. Luckily I have friends in Hong Kong so she can go in person to guarantee my bookings in case I got delay by the typhoon.

I loved my 8 nights here! Staff and cleaners were lovely. I enjoyed this area of town. I would return. Only con: my key card didn’t work 2x. Breakfast is a standard meal for meat eaters for $10 USD. Unfortunately no option for vegetarians

Overall everything is good. Reception staffs really nice and helpful, Ada Chan is amazing, well look after us as we didn't book the stay due to our flight being cancelled caused by typhoon and the hotel was fully booked that night. She helped us to find a room and I really appreciate for her effort.

Hotel in great location. Close to the heart of the city. Bus and tram (double decker!) stops next to the hotel entrance. Subway close by. A lot of dining options around. The hotel itself is ok. Reception staff really nice and helpful. Check in/out without any problems. Rooms are spacious. You can feel the atmosphere of old times, but in a good way. The building is old, but it only adds it its charm. Good hotel for a fair price. I stayed one night only, but I believe that it would be a good place for a longer stay as well.

The worst nightmare of my life. Run!

This hotel is by far the worst I’ve been in my entire life. Worst that side of the road motels. The fact that they call it a 4 stars is a joke. It’s run down, kinda dirty, beds are uncomfortable, it’s out of a 1960s nightmare. I spent the whole night concerned about the possibility of bedbugs. And the worst part is the smell, a mix between humidity, mold and moth balls or other strong chemical that is suspect is hiding asbestos. The smell won’t go away no matter what and you can’t open the windows, we all woke up with a bad headache. Run away and save yourself from this murder hotel. The price isn’t even cheap to compensate.
