Book Hopkins Valley hotels

Great value for money. We were 10 in our group and staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

The place is really breathtaking, a stone's throw from the best trekking routes. The lodge is basic but very comfortable, cozy, familiar and clean

This was a great place to stay! A quiet property in a quiet town close to Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo that was very clean, comfortable, and had EVERYTHING we needed. A high recommendation!

The updated room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and appreciated the dinner recommendations. We enjoyed sitting outside under the stars at the table & chairs provided. When we're back in Twizel, we would stay here again!

We loved staying here. Very quiet, owners are wonderful. Kitchen available to cook in for dinner. Breakfast provided in the morning, eggs available to cook yourself, cereal, yogurt and even had GF bread available. Grocery store very close drive. Owners were easy to correspond with before stay.

Friendly staff, let us check in early, park right outside room, laundry nearby with free detergent, large clean room with fully stocked kitchen. We ate dinner one night at the Hermitage Hotel and preferred this hotel and were glad we didnt pick Hermitage to stay at because this motel felt quieter and more easily accessible. It was the best choice in Mt Cook for us. The only improvement would be that it's a row of motel rooms and some, like ours, had some of the mountain views blocked by other motel rooms. It seemed one row of rooms had unobstructed views of Mt Cook mountains, so I'm not sure how to request one of those rooms, but it would have been an even better stay than our already pretty great stay if i had booked one of those rooms. Highly recommend this motel.
