When I checked in the young lady advised me that my room was Complementary all I needed to pay was a $50 deposit that I will get back when I check out. Later that day I received a texted that my card had declined for $332.36. I need to come to the front desk. So I received a notification from my bank that my card had declined for $332.36 then another declined for $286.36 due to my card being locked. They dis activate my key so I couldn't get back in the room from they mistake. So I went to the front desk and the lady told me my card declined and I said I know cause it's locked. I was told my room was complementary, she couldn't explain why I was told that. All she said she was not the person who told me that. It was my birthday and I didn't want to argue with her, so I paid the $332.36. So I came back down to the front desk and someone else was checking in. They was asked to spin the wheel and was given some coupon I wasn't asked to spin no wheel or giving nothing but a dumdum. I came down to check out on the 16th and asked for a receipt the young lady said again my room was complementary my receipt will be email to me. I said so why was I charged $332.36 and locked out my room. She couldn't explain either and offer me a bottle of water. My stay would have been great if it wasn't from that on my birthday. I am so upset and confused on why one person is seeing complementary. I would like for upper management to please contact me at (318) 564-1933. Thanks

Everything was going great until we asked the front desk attendant Mr. Kyler information about staying an extra day. He just told us there’s no room available. The next morning, we asked the money attendant Ashley, she was so helpful polite, and told us that there was the fact room available but at this point we found somewhere else. Mr. Kyler, needs more customer service training. Ashley, Is a true professional. Other than that, we had a great time.

One great night
This was a one night stay. The room was very big compared to other hotels for the price. Very clean room, very comfortable bed and a nice walk in shower. The breakfast was amazing.

The room needed more cleaning, you could hear the cars on the road. Hurricane happened during our stay, hotel was out of power. No one checked on us, nothing was offered. Did an early check out and received better service at another hotel.

We reserved and paid a $50 deposit for a room with two beds and was told it wasn’t available when we arrived. Our kids slept on a pullout couch instead of a bed. The room they had smelled like a combination of smoke and industrial strength air freshener. There were stains on the carpet and we were greeted by giant cockroaches in the morning. Definitely avoid.

Everything was great…only one small complaint. It was difficult to get the water in the shower hot enough…and even then it would get colder and warmer.
