We stayed in a room for three and it was too small. We had to climb over the bed to close the curtains or open a window. At breakfast there were not enough tables to eat at we had to sit in low chairs with our breakfast on our knees. The tables were also not cleared away

Mixed feelings

The air con didn’t work and the window didn’t open so the room was very hot. The room had not been hoovered and the carpet was dirty. However, staff were friendly and the breakfast was great.

Hull City Centre Holiday Inn was great for food, shopping and the Connexin Live. It was very clean and we had a comfortable sleep. Breakfast was good but would benefit from two hot drinks dispenser as there was always queues. Overall I would recommend staying here.

As short stay business hotels go, this was fine. The bed was comfortable. The lighting in the room was very dim because there were only lamps, not a main light. It was clean but there was a horrible drain smell in the bathroom. I was only staying for one night, but if I'd been there for longer I would have asked to move to another room. The WiFi in my room didn't work. The breakfast offer was good and the staff at reception and in the dining room were friendly and helpful.

Ok hotel, friendly people. Dreadful nights sleep!!! My room was joined to another, the person next door kept me awake til 2.15am, total disrespect for other people. I had to knock on his door at 2am to politely ask him to be quiet. At 12am I had to go into the corridor to tell 2 or 3 guys to also be quiet

Disappointing stay

The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean and the beds really comfortable. Unfortunately the room was freezing, the heater was blowing out cold air. We were over the road from a night club so spent most of the night listening to a banging beat! Not very pleasant at all :(
