Perfect overnight stay
Overnight stay before an early morning flight. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Ate in the Sports Bar which was nice. Very quiet and a five minute walk to the terminal - perfect!

Very convenient for Gatwick train station
Great place to catch up with sleep on the way north. Extremely convenient for Gatwick train station and terminal. Lovely comfy bed.

Hairs in the shower. Rubbish on the floor. Noisy air con unit that we struggled to get to sleep. Tired, drab room with uncomfortable bed. Would not stay here again. What a waste of £140.

We had reserved and paid for a room including breakfast two months in advance of our arrival. Our flight to Gatwick had a one hour delay and our next flight was at noon time the next day from the same terminal. We got to the hotel around 10pm and the front desk person could not find our reservation in their system. When I asked about the problem he told me that "they were fully booked". This is the last thing that we wanted to hear before our 10 hour flight the following day! He was finally able to sort it out after 15-20 minutes and several trips to the manager's office, who never bothered to come out of his office. The next morning, when we went downstairs to the breakfast area we had to go through the same ordeal again! There were two employees checking people in. They asked for our room number but they couldn't find it on their list. They told us to go to the dining area and have our breakfast and one of them said that he would resolve the issue and let us know. He came back to our table after 15 minutes and told us that he had resolved the issue and he apologized for the mess. We did enjoy the breakfast, which was very good and the convenient location but the overall experience was not what we were expecting..
