If annoying work convos are doing your head in, it might be time to dig out your passport and head off the beaten track for a while. Book some accommodation in Hwadam and you'll be in a fantastic spot to get out and see the awesome beaches, coastal plains and rivers of South Jeolla!

It sits 310 kilometres to the south of Seoul, the capital city of South Korea.

Take some deep breaths of fresh air and admire the natural beauty of Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park. It lies 20 kilometres away from Hwadam. You can also find more peace and quiet at Hwasun Red Cliffs, 45 kilometres away.

The nearby destinations of Boseong and Goheung are worth going to. They're located 17 kilometres west and 25 kilometres south away, respectively. Hop in a car and see what they're all about!

Want to check out Gwanbangjerim Forest Park, the Bamboo Museum and the Bamboo Garden? Make tracks to Damyang, 65 kilometres to the northwest, and set up base. These attractions, as well as the Myeonangjeong Pavilion and Geumjeong Fwarang, are all close.
