Bimbimbie (place of many birds) is a quintessential Australian beach house in a much sought after location at the quiet end of Tulip Street. The house has great views from the large deck and is only a two minute walk to Chinaman's Beach.

Summer Season 2025/2026
This property has a 7 night minimum in Summer Season and a changeover day of Saturday. Please make your bookings arriving and departing on a Saturday. If you prefer to book with our bookings team, please contact us directly.

Please note:

- The garage and shed is not available to guests. In addition, whilst the upstairs bath has spa jets and vents, they are non-operational.
- Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.

Where will I be?

Bimbimbie is located in the northern end of the village, but is still only a short walk to the local Hyams Beach Cafe and beaches of Hyams. It is particularly close to Chinamans beach and it's beautiful white sand.

Why choose Bimbimbie?

Bimbimbie is a comfortable, relaxed and spacious beach house. It has a large deck with great views over Jervis Bay, perfect for entertaining or a barbecue.

How is the property laid out?

Bimbimbie is a two-storey house, configured as follows:

Upstairs has three bedrooms (king; two single; one single and trundle), sharing a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. The main living area has an open plan lounge, bar and dining room connecting to a good sized deck that runs the full width of the house. The modern well-equipped kitchen is also on this level - and all of the living areas have views across the bay through large sliding door windows.

The downstairs level is connected via an internal spiral staircase, and has a good sized rumpus room - perfect for the kids. There is also an internal laundry with shower and toilet, and the fourth bedroom with king bed.

Wi-Fi and streaming services - will I have them?

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe or library that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide wifi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

What about outdoors?

Bimbimbie has a fully fenced backyard garden and a deck overlooking Jervis Bay's stunning water views. The deck offers a perfect spot for entertaining guests in the lazy afternoons after a day at the beach.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

Bimbimbie has reverse cycle air con, and is equipped with a combustion fireplace and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Bimbimbie supplies linen and bath towels. Please remember to bring your own beach towels!

Parking for cars, boats etc?

There is no access to the property's garage however there is ample parking space for up to five cars in the two driveways. One car space has a carport covering it.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Yes! Pets are welcome to stay at Bimbimbie subject to the following:

- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
- Lastly, please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home. Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure - thank you!

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Who will I be dealing with during my stay?

This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach, Bowral and Kangaroo Valley. Great location for family beach holiday
Slightly shabby run down property but in great location just moments from the best beach in Hyams and with plenty of space for our family of 6 teens & adults. Brilliant deck for bbqs and lounging with wonderful views over the bay. Lack of cleaning equipment was quickly rectified by the property manager even on a bank holiday weekend but we did have to ask for the basics.

Great location and views
Happy with everything except that most fly screens were damaged with large holes which made it impossible to open windows for fresh air without being attacked my mosquitoes or other insects. Bedroom downstairs had a strange smell.

This is an excellent property, decor a bit outdated but clean, large windows and deck to take in the beautiful view. Convenient location, enclosed backyard for the pups. Well equipped with everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay

Four freinds with dogs
We were celebrating a birthday and had a lovely weekend. The home was better than expected, four bedrooms, plenty of room and dog friendly with very secure yard. Short stroll to beach, lovely outside deck with water view. Kitchen is well stocked with extensive utensils, just like home.

Good holiday house and dog friendly.
The house is great for seven people. Close to the beaches, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas. Great views and a spacious veranda looking over the bay. Just be aware - one of the singles is a trundle. Shall stay again
