Lagada bay resort Is a prestige development on the south east coast of Crete close to Makrigialos. Located in a 6 acre amphitheatre in the heart of the raw Cretan countryside with private pools and just 5 mins walk from Lagada bay beach and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea. a beautiful uncrowded, golden sandy beach. It is a small, modern resort, consisting of, Townhouses, Apartments Bungalows and Penthouses just . Built to the highest standards, the resort is situated in a very unspoilt, rural part of Crete. The gardens are planted with indigenous plants and herbs. Makrigialos offers numerous, authentic cretan resaurants, cafes and bars along the beachfront. You will have the best of both worlds, a high quality holiday environment, stylish yet designed to compliment local culture, nestled in countryside, mountains and with sea views. Makriyalos is the best destination in all of Crete. It is a modern town, it has a similar ambiance and lifestyle to that of a Cornish village some 20 years ago. It features the Archaeological site of an ancient Minoan Country house. Makrigialos is characterised by some of the best beaches in Crete, secluded coves, crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea, outstanding and locally produced fruit, vegetables, fish, lamb, chicken, olive oil and wine. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of raw, majestic countryside and mountains.

Amazing property, very friendly and helpful staff
We had such an amazing stay here as 2 mums traveling with our kids. The pools and gardens were beautiful, the cafe had delicious snacks and coffee and the views of the sea and the mountains were stunning! A little bit out of town so a car recommended to get around but nice and quiet. We will be back!

This is the perfect apartment and destination for a perfect holiday!
I came here for 2 weeks and the apartment is stunning with an amazing location with swimming pools and in a walking distance from the beach and a short distance from a sea of fantastic restaurants that give amazing insight into the culture. I will definitely be coming back and will only stay in this apparent as it was so lovely and homely with everything. We could ever need and more. This place allowed me to relax and enjoy myself and have lots to do on the days I fancied exploring! So happy I found this! It’s a fabulous treasure me and my family thoroughly enjoyed and will be taking full advantage of for years to come! Thank you for our amazing two weeks!

Fabulous area in Makrygialos, apartment was lovely, clean and perfect position not noisy as was not overlooking the pools. Great views. The apartment has a great feel, the decor is lovely it is very well equipped . Absolutely loved the resort. Two great pools, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Cafe has great food and drink. Looking forward to the next year

The complex was in a good location slightly outside the town. Walks into town took 30 minutes
The onsite staff at the complex were always on hand to offer advice or sort out any problems. The accommodation was a good size and well equipped. There are some lovely beaches nearby. Car essential. Less attractions and day excursions but perfect for a beach, pool holiday.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Die Unterkunft ist schön und praktikabel eingerichtet. Die Anlage ist gut gelegen und circa 3 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

We kennen het hier goed en komen er graag, vooral vanwege de rustige omgeving en het mooie strand voor de deur. Woning is ruim en netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Af en toe hapert de wifi wat maar dat is dan ook alles.
