ideal location for a stay in Stratford, the hotel was lovely and clean, staff very friendly, breakfast second to none with selections on offer, parking was easy too. maybe more signage in parking area to show the best route to reception, but this didnt spoil our stay. will use this hotel when ever we are in the area,

The Crown Plaza lies on the river Avon in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. Clean, pleasant and the pool, gym and spa made it extra indulgent. Within a 5 minute walk of all the bars restaurants and shops who needs the car. Shakespheres theatre is less than a 19 minute walk as is his house. We had a very special couple of days in a beautiful part of the country.

Great service but terrible bed

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Stratford-upon-Avon and had a mixed experience. The mattress was extremely firm, which unfortunately led to poor sleep and sore hips in the morning. Room 3042 also had a maintenance issue—the bathroom tap was barely attached, making it difficult to get decent water pressure. On the bright side, breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive throughout my stay with my daughter. Winter heavy duvet was not great either as too too warm

Nice stay

The shower wasn’t great especially when we couldn’t turn the water off and had to report it to reception. However stayed there many times and it’s convenient for price. Also staff are generally good.

All in all good hotel in a great location. Lovely outdoor area for drinks by the river. Breakfast is busy but great selection. Service at the bar though was very slow. Needs addressing as it is a busy hotel.

Great stay!

First time we have stayed at this hotel; stayed on a bed only booking. Room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Went to the Theatre in the evening; it was great to come back to hotel after the play had finished and to be able to sit outside at hotel and have a drink. We were very lucky with the weather though! Would like to come back to explore dining room as well as the other facilities.

Wonderful stay - will go again

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable, quiet rooms. Central location with town and the RSC within walking distance. Great breakfast options. Good parking. Gym and (small) swimming pool available - changing room was freezing but that’s my only complaint!

Had a great stay here. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great. Right by the river. Two minutes into the town centre on foot

Family weekend stay

Great location in the city centre, parking and EV chargers. We had a great experience in the hotel, dinner was tasty, same as breakfast. The only downside was not so polite staff in the restaurant and swimming pool, which would deserve a scrub.
