But there's no need to work yourself into a tizzy. Toyoura is located around 50 kilometres away and offers some excellent accommodations, including The Windsor Hotel TOYA and Toyako Manseikaku Hotel Lakeside Terrace.

Attractions and Hotels Near Imakane

If you've been gifted with the wanderlust gene (well duh, you're here right?), then we're pretty sure you'll want to check out the wider Hokkaido region. The area features some incredible coastal plains and forests. After staring slack-jawed at nature's masterpieces, visit well-known tourist attractions like traditional villages, old towns and temples. Those with a serious appetite for adventure can also fill their days with a little snowboarding in this part of Japan.
