This is a cute little boutique type hotel and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Hulman bartender was great and made a yummy raspberry lemon martini. The breakfast in the morning was “ehh.” Nothing to rave about. However, our biggest issue was that we had several appliances broken in our room. Our door handle fell off in the bathroom, a lamp bulb was out, and the hairdryer was in shambles. I woke up with mysterious bite marks on my back. I thought it was bed bugs at first but it’s been a few days and it seems it was something else. Likely a spider. Additionally, I felt like parking was extremely overpriced ($48 per night!!!). It didn’t feel like the safest place in Indy which is probably why the front desk encouraged us to do valet parking. But we just parked at the Pacers garage across the street instead. It was $15 a day, so $30 total for over night. Still cheaper than valet. There is also construction across the street that was loud and woke us up in the morning. Overall, I wasn’t super impressed with our stay. The staff were very friendly but the maintenance on the hotel needs improvement.

Great place to stay! What made it even better was the friendly staff. Everyone from the valet to the front desk and the rooftop bar…they were all very helpful and pleasant.

Modern, Clean, and Walkable

Overall we had a very enjoyable experience, the hotel was very modern and clean, with great walkability for downtown Indy. However there were 2 things that left us frustrated. First and by far the most frustrating, was the parking situation. The only parking at this hotel is valet parking, which is outrageously expensive. We had to park across the street and likely spent close to $75 for the 3 days we were there, just on parking! Street parking is an option, but we were unable to find a street spot close to the hotel. The second thing that frustrated us was the street noise. Granted, we’ve lived in urban areas before, but our room was on the corner of a busy intersection, across from a bus station, so there was noise all hours of the day. Again, we did enjoy our stay but if you are not willing to pay for parking and city noise bothers you, this might not be the hotel for you.

great hotel one block from Gainbridge if you are in town to watch a basketball game. The rooms are large and we liked the decor a lot. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will stay again when we return for our next Fever game.

My room was large and the bed was very comfortable. My only issue, which was not the hotels fault, but an issue no less was that their is illegal street racing that runs the street in front of the hotel. Unfortunately for me that was exactly where my room was located and it kept me awake until approximately 2:30am. It started around midnight. Once I finally was able to get some sleep I was woke up at 5am by people in rooms near mine allowing their door to close on their own, which inadvertently slammed shut. This went on from 5am until I checked-out.
