Place is run down, no elevator and had to put down a 100 dollar deposit. That took almost 5 days to get back.

Charges were misrepresented. Online booking charged me and then hotel charged me again and added a $100 deposit that was not communicated through their online information. Staff was arguing publicly when I arrived and continued their fight for several minutes while I waited to check in. We decided not to stay there but couldn’t cancel the booking at the desk because I had made the reservation on line. One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Easily found a better priced, safer and more pleasant atmosphere at Comfort Inn a few blocks away

Do not book here.
Do not book a room here if you are with a family. This hotel is gross and did not feel safe. The gross part…humidity levels very high throughout the hotel as the AC was not working in hallways, dirt and mold and mildew growing around our toilet and shower, dirty and old carpets, trash scattered throughout the parking lot, we observed a prostitute soliciting her services in the parking lot, and a bare bones breakfast that included frozen bagels. Front desk attendant made no eye contact, mumbled when talking, had AirPods in when speaking with me, and didn’t care about our experience at all. Other items of note: the pool is closed and looks like it won’t ever reopen, the hotel is located in a scary part of town, the breakfast is not something you would want to eat, and check your room actually has toilet paper and soap before needing it (ours didn’t). We literally have nothing positive to say about our stay at this la Quinta.

very out-dated. beds are hard and the pillows are the worst i’ve ever used. carpet made your feet black. bathtub was dirty. when we were checking in, there was a man yelling about how dirty his room was.

The first room we checked into smelled like mildew / wet dog / urine and garbage. We changed rooms. The smell was slightly better, but the hotel is terrible. We locked ourselves in the room as it didn't feel safe. My six year old son said it best, "this place is disgusting, but at least I got a waffle".

Just a dirty hotel...
Upon checking in we went to our room. Hallway was dark, smelly and dirty. Heard a commotion outside the window. Saw a woman getting arrested. Nice forst impression. Room was okay. Sheets and towels were clean. That was it. Carpet was dirty and had nasty sticky spots all over. Had a funky smell. Bathroom was tiny and the floors had paint spots and sticky spots. Fans were loud and clanky. Bathroom door barely worked. Breakfast was nasty. Apple juice had stuff floating in it. Food had a bad flavor. We only had a half roll of toilet paper. Ran out. Desk staff told us they had none. What?!? Had to wait for the next morning. Stayed 5 days. No one emptied the garbage. No fresh towels. Had to get more on our own. Cameras in every hall. Maybe spend money on maintaining and upgrading. Awful place.

They should make it clear that there is a $100 security deposit BEFORE you make a reservation. It wasn't a problem for us, but check in took a lot longer because the people in front of us weren't prepared. We skipped the free breakfast, no Fox News or TCM on the cable.

Amenities all Out of Order with no plan to fix.
Airport Shuttle out of order, told it wouldn't be repaired until next week (no excuse-Indianapolis is a big city, surely same day service is available somewhere or maybe they should have multiple shuttles in case of break down.) Pool out of order with no signs of intent to clean or repair it (seriously, disgustingly dirty view of pool from my room.) Ice machine out of order, sign stuck to it with what appeared to be chewing gum. TV in exercise room out of order. Will not be staying here again, as I expect none of these issues will actually be addressed given the state of the place and the "can't do" attitude of the staff.
