Not worth the price.
We were in town for a comedy show at Gainbridge. It was also B1G championship weekend, so rooms were expensive. We understand supply/demand pricing. But, this room was not worth anywhere near the $500 we paid for one night. The thermostat/heat didn’t work despite running all night long, the toilet leaked every time we flushed & the room was tiny. I can deal with the size of everything else is at least decent as advertised. The resolution from the hotel??? They gave me extra points to their rewards program. It is a decent location, very walkable to Gainbridge and other downtown attractions and we had a nice view of the war memorial’s holiday lights.

The individuals at the front desk were not friendly. It was more like I’m waiting on you because I have to attitude. When we got to our room (1030- don’t let them put you in this room) we quickly noticed a very loud gurgling noise coming from a vent in the ceiling. Maintenance came and drained multiple 5 gallon buckets of water from whatever tank was in the ceiling and left. However the gurgling sound never went away. This along with construction and the noise will make me skip this property the next time I need to book a hotel in Downtown Indianapolis.

Room was miserably hot all night with no way to cool it down. It was also pretty outdated with peeling wallpaper, slow draining tub, and bathroom mirror falling apart. Parking fee is outrageous. But friendly staff, great views of monument circle, and very walkable area.

The rooms were freezing. My room never got above 61 degrees though I tried to bump up the air. I slept in sweat pants and sweatshirts the entire time. Clean but cold.

The valet crew was amazing. Front desk staff very nice. Housekeeping was amazing. You can walk anywhere even to the zoo and Lucas oil stadium. Perfect location for the monumental marathon.
