Very nice place to stay
It was a very nice stay, they even had games to play at night. Our room was a bit warm, and the bed a little hard, but breakfast was good and the premises clean and inviting.

We expected more when we decided to stay at the Stone Soup. We love to support small businesses versus large chains. Our room was dirty - I cleaned hair out of the drain and the sink. I always bring gloves and Clorox wipes with me when we travel and I’m glad I did. The “bed” that our son slept on was horrible. It was so hard and uncomfortable. There was popcorn from a previous guest under the “bed”. Our room was hot and we were unable to adjust the temperature. When we checked in, we were told there would be a waffle bar in the morning. We came down to a dirty table, the other guest’s plates hadn’t been cleared. No waffle bar and no cereal bowls were left. The grapes didn’t look like they had been properly washed. There was no one manning the desk when we came down to breakfast so we ate what was left on the table.

Lovely quiet place. Conveniently located (for us, and fairly close to downtown). Reasonably priced when we stayed there. Continental breakfast - nothing too special abt that, except the dining room was pretty.
