Knotty Pine is located within Lac O' Season's resort which offers 600 feet of sandy shore line, great for the prefect summer swim. There is also a public boat landing just down the road. The resort offers 2 boat slips that are available on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Just minutes from Ski Brule, it is also the perfect winter getaway in the Northwoods.

Escape to Tranquility: A Perfect Stay at Knotty Pine!
We had an amazing stay at Knotty Pine! The cabin is absolutely charming, with a cozy, rustic feel that made it the perfect getaway. It was immaculately clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. The location was peaceful and picturesque, offering beautiful views and plenty of outdoor space to relax. Communication with the host was seamless, and they provided helpful tips for local attractions. I highly recommend Knotty Pine for anyone looking for a relaxing, homey retreat!

Perfect Stay Start to Finish
The cabin was beautiful and inviting. I really liked that the place was lit warmly with a cozy replica wood stove that was crackling away just as you walk through the front door. Great view from the deck of the lake. The beds were super comfy as well. Very enjoyable stay indeed.

Very clean and organized. Large bathroom. Well supplied kitchen excluding a bottle opener, foil and baggies. Queen bed was comfortable. Nice size closets. Wish it was on lakefront. Owner is very nice and prompt with returning calls. Close to town.id stay there again

Great Cabin, with a nice deck. Property was nice with fire pit. Everything was perfect, the cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and hostess left out per bowls when we said we were bringing a pet, which was a nice touch. We completely enjoyed our stay and would rent the same cabin again.

Peaceful
Spent spring break here with our kids - 9 and 12 - and dog. Cabin was perfect - our kids didnt want to leave. Nice main room to eat and play games or lounge on the couches, then each had own room for down time. Easy drive to town for meals and just minutes from Ski Brule - we caught the last weekend. Great views of Stanley lake from the house. We would come back here every season of the year, it would be great to enjoy the lake too when its warm.

Perfect Ski Cabin
Knotty Pine is the perfect ski cabin for our family. It’s big enough for our family of 4, yet small and cozy on cold winter nights. Very close to Ski Brule and Iron River. Snow was cleared, porch light was on, and the heat was also turned on when we arrived!

Knotty Pine is the coziest place nestled in a group of cabins near Lake Stanley. Nancy is super nice and accomodating. She changed our stay dates with no hassle. The cabin is clean, beds are comfy, surroundings are beautiful. Another great stay!

Nice and cozy
I stayed here with my two boys ages 9 and 11 for a long weekend. The cabin was very clean and quite cozy. The size of the cabin was fine for the 3 of us. There were no issues and everything ran smoothly. I would stay here again without hesitation. Cookware and kitchen utensils were fine but quite minimal. This didn't bother me as I didn't cook anything involved.

Cleanest place we've ever stayed. Appreciated the charcoal and firewood. The only disappointment was not realizing that there are no resort amenities available except the docks and small beach area. The cabin and property are both very nice.

Cozy beautiful location
Our family of six stayed 3 nights to ski at Ski Brule. The cabin is located in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and overlooks Stanley Lake where we were delighted with a gorgeous sunset upon arrival. I can see this being a perfect summer rental as well! The Franklin stove heated up the cabin and assisted with drying out our ski gear. Everything was very clean and the owner was great. very close to Ski Brule! We are happy we didn’t spend the extra $ to stay at a ski chalet at the base of ski brule. Our only “wish” was that there was another couch or loveseat in the living room so the whole family could sit and relax together.
