Secluded Cabin on Red Haven Farm

Very cute cabin tucked away off the beaten path within Red Haven Farm. Private area with no visible neighbors. Hike in the deep woods or on the trails. Can also explore Red Lick Creek. This cabin is for relaxing, however we have WiFi for your convenience. The farm is nearby and available to visit.

If you need more space, we also have two other rentals on the property and camping options.

The cabin is tucked back in the holler and is about a mile away from the main farm. It is very private and quiet. You are welcome to explore all 540 acres we own including the farm, forest, creeks and animals.

You have the cabin to yourself but are welcome to visit other areas of the farm.

We do our best to allow our guests to enjoy their vacation without interruption but we may also just check-in to make sure you have everything you need. We are always available if you need anything.

Remote setting far enough from town to see the stars, hear nature and not hear the city noises.

Tucked away in the countryside so you will need a car to get around but many people also like to walk the property. Parking is right at the cabin.
Please don't adjust the propane tanks on the side of the house.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.
Guests will find features like internet access and onsite parking.

A great little cabin in the woods
This is the perfect place to stay for a couple looking for a quiet weekend away. The host, Sandy, is very kind and genuinely interested in making sure you have everything you need for a great stay. There's a nice little kitchen that's well equipped, a gas grill outside that's ready to go, and Berea and Irvine are 30 minutes away if you decide to head out to shop and eat. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this host or this cabin to anyone. Tips: An SUV is helpful to get to the cabin due to the gravel road, which can be a little rough in a couple of spots, and the stairs to the bedroom/loft could be challenging for those with mobility concerns.

A perfect place to get away from it all
We've never been anywhere like this before, it was great! It really is secluded, a good distance off the road near one end of a 550 acre farm that's mostly forest. If we hadn't wanted to see any other people, that would have been very possible. But the owners are delightful and very friendly, and we really enjoyed getting to chat with them and learn about the farm. The cabin itself was great for the two of us. It's very clean and looks like it was refurbished within the last few years, so everything is up to date and nice looking. The space is small, but cleverly organized so that somehow everything we needed was there. We hope to visit again some time when the leaves are down so we can hike some more and get a better look at the rock formations in the hills that surround the valley.

Haven of relaxation
Just back from our stay at Red Haven--it was the perfect spot to spend a weekend to recharge. The cabin was incredibly clean, scenery unbeatable and the brats we ordered from the farm were incredible. We can't wait to be back!

The best medicine
My husband and I, both in our 70s, made a roadtrip with our two dogs from Houston, TX We were seeking quiet seclusion, a place where we could rest and relax. Thus was perfect. No traffic, no sirens, no train horns, no news from the outside world. Serenity. Sandra and Martin were close if we needed them but never intrusive. Just what the doctor ordered.

Great Getaway
My sister and I really enjoyed this place. We loved how secluded it was, the beautiful fall foliage, and how this cabin utilized it's space. Next time, we hope to explore the many trails this property has to offer.

This is the spot for ease of mind and stress free being. My dogs and I had a supremely wonderful time, roaming the property. The farm fresh eggs were delightful. The hosts are attentive and friendly. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The solitude was much needed!

Amazing getaway
I was in desperate need of a getaway to unwind and heal from a recent health issue that lingered the last half of summer. This cabin has everything I could ever need. We were able to cook and the accommodations were just right for all that we needed. My 11 year old dog easily climbed up and down the stairs. I slept so much and we hiked through some of the trails in the property. To get into town was no big deal. You can motor to Richmond very easily. I was in search for home made pie and found a place at Richmond mall called Bespoke. Just give them a couple of days lead time. Their cupcakes were amazing also. On our last day I found that I needed antifreeze and we managed to find an advanced auto store 20 mins away that carried European Preston’s my VW. Our hosts were extremely responsive to all our needs and attentive to our messages. The directions they shared were extremely descriptive and easy to follow. I cannot wait to return to this lovely sanctuary. Thanks Sandy and Martin! Gratefully, Bruce and Ada And Pearl Ross.

Red Haven Farms is a true Haven!
Kentucky's true beauty - We drove down from Michigan for a relaxed trip to kick off our Summer. Sandra & Martin provided farm-fresh eggs, stocked coffee, a VERY clean cabin complete with comfortable sleeping quarters, plus toiletries & kitchen supplies. The view from the homey red cabin is breathtaking & nature surrounds you to create the perfect little unplugged oasis. (However, the wifi is strong & available for free if needed.) This is a 10/10+ place to relax with friends or family, or even just with yourself - Highly recommended. P.S - Thank you for the wonderful impromptu tour of your Farm & adorable animals - that was a highlight of our trip.

“My Healing Place”
I came to the property with a week of healing and working through some grief. Pictures don’t do the property jystice. The property is so beautiful and serene … I left with a measure of peace I didn’t have when I arrived. Sandy and Martin are kind and caring property owners. Caring for people, animals and earth alike. Christy
