Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to track down any places to crash in the centre of Isfjorden.

But there's no need to freak out. Vikebukt is located approximately 35 kilometres away and has some brilliant places to crash, including the Scandic Seilet and Hotell Molde Fjordstuer.

Molde is another place where you can sit back and make friends with the room service menu. Sitting 35 kilometres northwest of Isfjorden, it's where you'll find the Molde City Center and Rose Atelier. Some of our recommended Molde hotels include the Comfort Hotel Nobel and Quality Hotel Alexandra. Alternatively, you could stay in Kristiansund, 60 kilometres to the north of Isfjorden, where you'll find the Quality Hotel Grand Kristiansund and Astoria Hotel. The Kristiansund Ferry Port and Gamle Byen are popular sites to check out when you're in Kristiansund.

Alesund is situated 85 kilometres away from Isfjorden and has a population of 44,000. When you're in the region, you'd be mad if you didn't check out Sunnmore Museum, the Alesund Museum and the Alesund Ferry Terminal. The Jugendstilsenteret and Alesund Church are a few more which are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. There are a great selection of available hotels in Alesund, with the Hotel Brosundet and Clarion Collection Hotel Bryggen topping out the list.
