Wonderful staff, clean room and communal areas. Only downside is you can hear every little movement, phone alarm and suitcase zip but other than that it was a great stay.
Stayed here for 20 days, the entire stay was awesome. Huge shout out the all the girls working at the front desk, they were amazing!!
The accomodation is kept in very good condition and very clean all the time. The location is perfect, close to many shops, Izakayas and other restaurants. As well just a short walk to ishigaki port which makes it very easy to take ferries to visit other islands (would recommend Hateruma).
The bed is clean. They almost provide all the things you need. For example, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, hairdryer, and even heat curling iron, hair straightener, as well as cotton swab. All facilities are very new. Really feel relax and warm during my stay.
The hostel was really nice, friendly staffs, cozy common room, well equipped kitchen. The only thing is a bit far from city centre and quite dark the way to hostel. But still recommend

This is an excellent place to stay. I’m a man living in Kyoto, though I am from Canada. I travel on my own but I felt at home with the friendly staff. Maybe this is the best guesthouse that I’ve ever stayed in. Everything so clean - the bathroom, the kitchen for example. Everything I needed was there for me. The staff work very hard to keep this place in excellent condition. They meet every day to see what more they can do. They are really great.
I wish I’d taken more pictures with them before I left.
You can see this pretty place in the website, and it is really like that.
I don”t know what more I can say. I’m really looking forward to staying there the next time I go to Ishigaki.
Good location and nice facilities. Very good budget choice. However given that the “rooms” are connected at the top and have no physical doors, one should not underestimate the noise you may inevitably receive, whether whispering or footsteps or sound of plastic bags or someone farting (which is totally natural). Not so comfortable for light sleepers.
Pros - clean, quiet, cheap.
cons - far from the station, about 10 minutes walk. The walls are relatively thin and it just takes a couple of noisy people to ruin the night for everyone. No eating allowed in the rooms and you are not allowed to linger at the communal area after checkout.
I had a wonderful stay at Chura Cucule! The location is within walking distant to the downtown area where all the shops and restaurants are, also walking distant to the ferry terminal.
This guest house is super clean, the “rooms” are small but has everything you need, and the common area has all the essential.
Would definitely stay here again.
Clean , good facilities , a lot of food at the surrounding area and walkable to where i want to go in the ishigaki town area. Walkable to the port and also the bus station
Wide capsule room
Great mat
Electricity plug, light, fan inside
Curtain for privacy
3 showers for males
I stayed in high season, i didnt need to wait
Shampoo, conditioner body soap toohbrush are provided
Big and small new towels
The kitchen has everything you need
The coffee is as cheap as 50yen
The convenience store is just 2 blocks far
The staff are always smiling and really helpful
This place is perfect for solo travelers! The budget of hostel with the cleaning and comfort of hotel. Thought the walls are really thin, you will still have comfort zone and a good place to sleep while in the dining room you can meet people.
The staff was super friendly, showers and toilets were great. Highly recommend!
Clean with good facilities and friendly staff. Close to town bus and ferry port.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
Super welcoming staff but sound proof is terrible.
I knew what is paid for but the design is horrble. For 4 nights. I can't sleep probably. You can hear what is everyone doing , especially when they start packing their bag in the middle of the night like 12am and the alarms go off at 6:15 6:30 7:09 7:10 across all the way to the of the hall. Bring your ear plugs . Anyway. The experience here is ok. Faculties are better than expected
