2 night stay, family of 3
Owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. We wanted to go whale watching and they took care of all the arrangements for us, they also told us about nice stops to visit on the way to the activity.
Our room was comfortable, but outdated. Think 70's. No air conditioning, nor fans. If you need a small fridge in your room, it's best to plan ahead with the owner when making reservations. Beds were too firm for our liking, but that's just us. Bathroom is basic, but clean.
Free wi-fi and parking. There's a nice pool and plenty of different sitting areas on the property, including a spot for a bonfire when weather permits. If you go up the steps behind the motel, you'll get a gorgeous view of the waterway and surroundings. Across the street from the property, there's a nice sitting area by the waterfront, reserved for this establishments' clientele, as well as a small maritime museum that you can visit for a small fee.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am. The food was ok, but you'll gag at the price (if you didn't book with breakfast included) (we were quite disappointed when our plates arrived). We went elsewhere for breakfast the 2nd morning. It's also a good idea to bring snacks and such, stores are few and far away...
Overall, it was a nice stay, nothing to write home about, but not anything to balk at either.
