Firstly I would like thanks Emere, Murad, the lady in charge of breakfast and the two cleaning ladies and test of the staff for making our stay memorable. The property is located within 5-10 mins walking distance from landmarks (Blue Mosque, Haiga Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Square, German Hippodrome and many more. The tram station Sultanahmet is also around 8mins away. There was plenty of restaurants around the Hotel and some convenience stores were also near by. Hotel satff is very professional, polite and attentive they made our stay as comfortable as possible by upgrading our room to junior suit with a jacuzzi, had complementary water botlle on arrival and on second day we had a complementary fruit platter (Thank you). The room was very nice and clean and the view of Marmara Sea was breathtaking especially sunrise over the sea was stunning. There is a safe, tea coffee making facilties, a fridge, Flat screen tv, dressing table and two sofa in the room. The linens was changed, room and the bath was cleaned daily (cleaning ladies were also very humble and polite) Daily breakfast was the same every day, however we was given omelets (normally extra charges) the breakfast lady was very accommodating. Overall faultless stay I will definitely rebook this hotel if they provide dinner as package. Only negative thing was the smell from the bathroom, which the staff tried their best to get rid off but didn't succeed, however this doesn't take all the positives away.

Very central property! Close to many major sites. However, was still peaceful. Everything was walking distance. The staff were very kind and helpful with everything. Would definitely stay here again.

The room I paid for wasn't available until two days later and I had to ask for it. The tub leaked and it was extremely noisy until 3:30am. I asked to check out early and that was refused. I got offers of lower priced trips to the airport instead. The finally offered a credit of 1 day when I was leaving two days early after multiple days of not being able to use the tub/shower without the room flooding. That was then later revoked saying that it was too difficult to credit me and I settled for a credit for an earlier ride to the airport which was less than the equivalent of one night. The people were nice and friendly but the customer service was extremely poor considering the circumstances. I regret having you leave this review but was given little choice.

GLK Acropol staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay in Istanbul, especially Mustafa and Emre. Hussein at reception was helpful in arranging the Bosphorus Cruise for us as well as transfer back to IST on our departure day. Although the hotel is a bit old, the management has kept it well maintained. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, however do keep in mind there several bars on this street, if you sleep in early be aware it can be some what noisy at night.

Excellent location for Sultanahmet area.
Excellent location for the mosques and tours and great restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Definitely a boutique hotel. I recommend the suites rooms. View was spectacular. Bathrooms were clean but bathtubs were leaking water. Blow dryer wasn’t working long enough to dry my hair. You had to wait for it to reset itself. Breakfast was good but could improve variety. Overall good experience.

We recently stayed at this lovely boutique hotel with our family of eight ( including 86 years old and 8 years old) and it was everything we could have hoped for in a vacation! The hotel’s intimate, elegant design provided the perfect blend of comfort and charm. The location couldn’t be better – just a short, easy walk to all the historical sites we wanted to explore. The views from the 5th floor were breathtaking - views of Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Marmar sea. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From morning to night, they were kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, helping with arrangements of tours, transportation etc, they treating us as if we were family. Everyone was amazing, but I would like especially mention Husain and Jasmine. If you’re looking for a place that feels both luxurious and inviting, with amazing location and service, this hotel is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return!

One star is far too generous for GLK Premier Acropol Suites & Spa. Our stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. The hotel is nothing like the glossy photos online. The advertised "suites" were cramped, poorly maintained, and lacked basic amenities. Most egregious was the complete lack of WiFi in our room. After reporting the issue, we waited over an hour for staff who were utterly unhelpful and unable to resolve the problem. With important work commitments, we were forced to abandon our reservation after just one hour and scramble to find alternative accommodation. Thankfully, we managed to secure a far superior hotel nearby, highlighting just how substandard the GLK Premier truly is. To add insult to injury, it's been over a week since we requested a refund, and management has been completely unresponsive. Their lack of communication and refusal to address the blatant failure to provide the services we paid for is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs; your time, money, and sanity will thank you.

A perfect base for exploring historic Istanbul. 5 to 10 minutes walk to the big 3 major sites.Hussein, Emre and the rest of the team looked after us and treated us like family for the 10 days we stayed. Rooms are fantastic and for an extra special stay book the top floor balcony rooms with views straight out onto Hagia Sofya. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of turkish foods & treats. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful. We had booked a balcony room but at night time it was too noisy due to the night clubs outside. We reported to reception and the manager changed our room to sea view which was very peaceful and quiet. The manager explained they are having sound proof windows installed next month. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in the heart of sultan Ahmet so nice hustle and bustle .

Hotel is a little dated. Room was clean outside of the bathroom that had some mold around sides of tub etc. Outside of that it was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a room on the top floor with a view of water and away from the street noise(highly recommend). Service was over and above. Great location but be ready to turn down multiple restaraunts on your way in and out. Very close the main tourists sights though you'll likely be fed up with the crowds by the end.

Great location for walking to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Gulhane Park and Topkapi Palace. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Mustafa, Emre and the young lady helping at the breakfast buffet. Only downside is the loud music from one of the bar/restaurants across the road which went on until 2am on a couple of nights.

Overall it was ok, only one night we stayed(circumstantial) and I would say customer service was ok, not great but ok. The bell hop however was excellent!! The facilities downstairs looked not too bad. But we did not end up using them.

Excellent small property with great rooms and breakfast. Only negative can be a major one for some travelers- NOISE. Loud music from close by bars will stay on until 1am each night, so if that’s a problem DONT STAY here choose a quieter location property.
