Great Stay
We enjoyed our stay. The staff at all times were excellent and looked after my wife and I. Breakfast was a particular highlight. Overall, I'd recommend staying at the Neorion.

This was a really nice hotel an an excellent location, with a great staff. My only caution is to older travelers who have issues with stairs and high bathtubs. The restaurant is excellent but you have to negotiate a steep flight of stairs to get there.

My 4th stay at Neorion which I regard as my 2nd home when I visit Istanbul. Superb on every level, with the incredible Turkish hospitality from every member of staff. Nothing was too much for them. Loved my stay and have recommended it to many friends and family.

An Excellent Choice in Sultanahmet
I don't really know much about locations in Istanbul, but the Neorion was an excellent place to stay. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts, an excellent rooftop dining, drinking and viewing area, patient and super-helpful staff. If you want to be in Sultanahmet, stay here.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Neorion. The location was excellent and convenient especially if you want to take the light rail around town or walk to the mosques in Sultanahmet. For us, it was a quick five minute walk to the ferry in Eminonu which you can take to Kadikoy (if you need to get to SAW airport). The hotel is also only a ten minute walk to Galata Bridge to cross over into Beyoğlu where we found better shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to house keeping. The breakfast is very good and convenient including excellent coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice and other juices. Also. you gotta try the honeycomb for fresh honey! Delightful touch and delicious! What we didn’t like was the bed sheets (too scratchy and stiff), the bathroom sink’s poor hot water pressure (Room 405), and the awful hairdryer which would overheat after only 20 seconds of use on high (no joke). My wife would have to wait 3-4 minutes each time to allow the hairdryer to cool off, which was beyond annoying. We asked for a new hairdryer but were told they all act like that so any replacement would be pointless. My advice to management is invest in better hairdryers. It may seem like a trifle, but the little things matter and not easily forgotten. Finally, the pool and hammam in the basement are quite lovely, but it would be nice if there was better lighting and if the sauna could open before 14:00 hours. Thank you, Hotel Neorion!

Love this hotel. The staff is very kind and friendly. The room is clean and the hotel is conveniently located to good food and shopping. Breakfast is free and you can use the pool and sauna and Turkish bath facilities for free. Also heard that the rooftop is very pretty although I didn’t get time to go see for myself. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved this hotel. Communication was prompt before our stay, especially as I'd booked last minute. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We arrived a little early and we're all given drinks whilst we went through the paperwork. We got access to our room early and the staff couldn't do enough to help. My son's loved the pool!
