This hotel is good value. Any of the irritations were minor for me and since it was such a good price and the owner/staff are so polite it all balances out fine. It's good that there isn't breakfast - I always wanted to eat out and I wouldn't want to have to pay for something i wasn't using. The building and furniture are old, this is its charm. If you're a fussy person go somewhere else. And you will be woken by the muezzin in the mosque 50m away (6.30am when I was there). Overall I liked it.

It is a charming, rustic hotel with the friendliest people. Maria checked me in and went above and beyond to help make my stay memorable and comfortable. The location is perfect and close to all the attractions. Can’t believe how much history surrounds this place! It is tucked away in a quiet area and only a few steps away from a lot of great dining options that run late into the night.

Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful interior design. I loved how they mixed traditional decorative items throughout the hotel. When we got to the hotel, no one answered the door. Telephone number that was on the website and on the door did not even have ringing tone. So we had to find ourself a new place to stay going door to door with unexpected extra cost to us. Very stressful experience and bitter start to our vacation.

A small and comfy family-style hotel in the old part of Istanbul, very close to many sightseeings like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi. A bit difficult to get a taxi there so it's recommended to walk more.

Was not what we were expecting. Had booked to stay two weeks but only lasted one night before I had to hook an alternative. The location is perfect but the quality of rooms not so much. When asked fora refund the hotel was not interested. Very disappointed.

the guy who runs the hotel is a very nice person. He knows how to run a business but at the same time he is a very friendly person. the hotel is clean and i liked my stay over there.
