Find some time for strolling along the beach and relaxing with a seaside picnic at Sjosanden or Havika Beach.

Make your way out of Iveland and you'll be rewarded with some picturesque natural sights. Just 35 kilometres away, Reddalsvann Nature Reserve is a terrific spot to kick back and relax. Another sugggestion is Hill Hike in Grimstad, 40 kilometres away from Iveland.

Whether you're looking to perfect your turns or just have fun and stay in one piece, Aust-Agder has the slopes for you. Head to either Gautefall Ski Centre or Gautefall Alpinsenter.

We also recommend hopping in the car and making your way to Evje. It's about 20 kilometres to the northwest and popular for Mineral Park and the Evje Mineralsti.

Whether it's for some shopping or to see the sights, locals and travellers alike often make the trip out to Kristiansand, 30 kilometres to the south. The University of Agder, Kristiansand Cathedral and Christiansholm Festning are all within a stone's throw. That said, make sure you don't miss the Myren Gard og Park and the Bredalsholmen Dokk og Fartoyvernsenter either.

To truly experience a place is to try its food and drink, so get set to crunch, munch, slurp and sip your way around Aust-Agder. The only thing you need to take with you is a strong appetite!
