A quaint stop out of history. Very charming, local inn with a fireplace, a counter to have your meals, a convenience store, and also right outside the road to the north rim, with Vermillion Cliffs NM right down the road.
A great place to stay, friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately the heater in our bedroom was not working and, due to the altitude, and the very cold weather we were absolutely frozen.

Good quiet position for going into North Rim Grand Canyon and has an excellent restaurant.
We were in the hotel out the back with no fridge or microwave. No way to make a hot drink(and it snowed) so have to walk back to the main inn. Not safe in the dark. Claimed a fire risk meant no coffee maker etc but that made no sense as curtains cover heater at night which is a fire risk so we turned it off.
Room a good size and good shower.

Our third stay at Jacob Lake Inn. We have enjoyed it every time. The staff is great and the food is always good.
We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing main lodge, restaurant, and store. The Check-in was fast and easy. She was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay again.

The only option outside the park without having to travel another hour to the next lodging option. Simple accommodations. Restaurant food was surprisingly good. The best turnovers I have ever had. Cookies are fantastic. Wish I knew how amazing they were before we drove off. Would’ve gotten more to go.
Jacob lake inn is awesome place to stay. It’s an old place but really cool. It doesn’t have a fridge but they give a lot of ice bags. They serve the most delicious food we’ve ever eaten. Walking trails around are nicer than anywhere around. And it’s just 40 minutes to north rim which is very close. Highly recommended place to stay
Loved our stay at Jacob Lake Inn. Will stay here again!

The food at inn was very good… really enjoyed it!
Only complaint was hair dryer did not work… told management and they said they would follow up since we were staying another night… no follow up or new dryer
The staff was under staffed in the restaurant, it took quite a while to receive your food. The servers were doing multiple tasks. Everyone was very nice but overworked.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but this quaint place was so charming. Rooms not the biggest but adequate for our one night stay. Lovely and clean and very quiet. Had dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Very good food at reasonable price. Lastly the cookies were the best - so many to choose from. The onsite shop was an added bonus. Would recommend to any traveller.

Very convenient stay for visiting North Rim. Room was clean and food was good. Because this is only place within 45 min of North Rim, lots of rim to rim hiker groups stayed here and left very noisily at 3am each morning as walls are paper thin. It was busy and food service was slow. Don’t come hangry. Cookies were delicious. Would recommend driving another 45 min out and staying in Kanab if you are just visiting Grand Canyon for a day or two - many more options for lodging and food in cute little town
