We had a horrible experience checking into the property. Check in time is at 2pm and we checked in at 3pm. After we Checked in we were told to wait 15 minutes as our room is not ready. After 20 minutes we go back to the front desk and we were told to wait another half hour because our room was still not ready. This was extremely frustrating as are stay in Jakarta was only for 1 day and we wanted to fresh up in our room to start the day but because our room was not ready for us it delayed our whole schedule. Also, when we finally got our room we had to call room service as the sheets and comforter was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location good because we can go to the bus stop in 3 minutes. Some restaurants are open for 24 hours on the street, so there are lots to do after midnight.

Located on the side of a very busy and small street. Room was small but OK. STAINS are everywhere on the carpet! The bathroom door built in weird angle. The handwashing sink was not working (drain the dirty water) well too. Referigerator is NOT working at all. Reported, got replacement, and still did the same. Not cold at all. Foods were fine but not exciting and either too salty or no taste at all. On the 3dr day I stayed there, coffee was the last to serve! I was waiting since I came till I have to go back to my room, i just saw the coffee still being prepared (not ready). Self laundry had to wait your turn to buy the specific coins! They only have several coins available! You just need 2 coins everytime you do your laundry. The dryer is NOT working properly. The clothes were damp, not drying completely, even i tried for 90 mins. So I had to redo my laundry somewhere else! Uncomfortable for staying longer than 2 nights.

I did not expect. This is high end location. Neat, clean with Country's President residence, various high end consulates. museums, National Monument is a notable landmark. Istiqlal Mosque and Jakarta Cathedral Church. Use can hire taxis or tuk-tuks (rickshaws) or scooters. Metro station half a block away and bus service in front of hotel. Evening the roadside food stalls open up most popular is Indonesian Satay. To get to speak to local in English is big hindrance otherwise like all Asians pleasant folks. Happy stay & travel
