Jamieson is a destination with plenty of cool stories to tell. If you think your life's been a bit boring lately, a trip here is the perfect answer!

Australia's capital city, Canberra, can be found around 350 kilometres to the northeast of Jamieson.

The tranquil sounds of the natural world await you at Mount Torbreck. It's situated just 19 kilometres away, so you don't have to be stuck in a car all day. Steavenson's Falls, 45 kilometres away, is one more popular option.

Don't just watch sport on the TV, live it at Mansfield Oval! Located 30 kilometres away in Mansfield Shire, it's a great place to get your fix whether you're going for the home or away team.

Spend your days alternating between the glorious snow and a couch beside the fireplace at Mt. Buller Ski Slopes and Mount Hotham Alpine Resort. From beginners to those who know their stuff, there's something to please everyone at these snow-capped wonderlands.

Venture further afield and see what's going on in Delatite, 17 kilometres to the north. Many visitors come here for the Mansfield Zoo and the Delatite Winery. Alternatively, Goughs Bay is 18 kilometres to the north of Jamieson. Swing by this locality for convenient access to Mansfield Cemetery and Goulburn Valley High Country Rail Trail.

Village Center, Mount Buller Peak and Wombat are all very close to Mount Buller, 30 kilometres to the northeast. Need some more excuses to stop by? Howqua and Summit aren't far away either.

An exciting way to explore the surrounding area is to partake in an outdoor adventure. Mountain climbing is one of the most popular activities around here. But if that's not quite what you're after, there's always hiking.

Cycling is an excellent way to wind down after a whole heap of sightseeing. If you feel like you want more time outside, why not organise to go shore fishing too?

Located 120 kilometres to the west is Tullamarine Airport (MEL), the nearest terminal. Ensure you have ample time to get there.
