There was no security,gates d or cctv,we had our camper vans windows smashed and goods stolen at 3 am in the morning,due to the stress of this we all decided to leave the hotel in the middle of the night.when we arrived the hotel receptionist said it was a very safe area and did not need any security,.I would definitely not recommend this hotel due to no security

Great location, breakfast was good. Room was not great, bathroom door didn't close and decor wasn't good. Evening meal didn't look very appetising, walked across the road to Courpaille.

Pleasant stay for one night
Great price. This is the ‘just right’ kind of place. The room is small, but clean and well organized. As the entrance is directly from outside, more like a motel, we were worried about the noise, as you can hear and see people passing by. But surprisingly everyone was quiet and mindful of others. The only thing hard to understand is why only two towels, one small and one a bit bigger, per room.

Coping with covid
Stop off on journey south. Website said no food so pleasantly surprised to find restaurant open. Stayed many times because always clean dog friendly and easy walking quiet surroundings and excellent staff.

Great location
Perfect location if you are travelling with dogs as opposite a large wood and park. Can park right outside the room as well. Request ground floor rooms. Room itself is small but for the price is good. Has a kettle with tea & coffee No hand towel so worth bringing your own

Back again.
Stopover on way home to Blighty. Have been before. Nice quiet location with excellent dog walking nearby. Friendly staff and you don't have to go out to get a meal as the restaurant serves good wholesome evening meals and breakfasts. Room clean but the property is starting to look a bit tired. Don't let that put you off. ill continue to use this Campimile.

Sleep amongst the vines.
An overnight stopover on journey south. Apart from a mix-up on arrival it was an excellent stay. The accommodation is superb that is mainly used as a gite in season. Very comfortable bed in end part of old farmhouse newly renovated to a high standard. Very quiet surrounded by vines. No evening meal but short drive into Libourne found a good selection of restaurants. Good breakfast at very reasonable price.

Perfect overnight stop for pet owners
Perfect location as opposite a large park with woods and lake. All rooms have doors opening straight outside so great for unloading if you have a ground room floor

The room was very clean and adequate for an overnight stay and was very competitively priced. I would have given a higher rating but I asked for an accessible room to accommodate me and my wheelchair but although I was given a ground floor room it was not a room for the disabled, I therefore did not have enough room for my wheelchair or a seat in the shower or a frame around the toilet. This made things very difficult for me. Campanile have always given me an accessible room in the past so I don't understand why they did not accommodate me this time. The room for able bodied people however, was very clean and comfortable and very good value.
