Beautiful views, very clean, located very close to Kona. However, there was no AC in our bedroom or bathroom , they gave us two fans to draw the AC into the bedroom. Needless to say sleeping was quite uncomfortable.whibedroom or

My fault for not reading, but this place does not have ac. And it’s HOT and humid inside and just miserable. You can purchase ac, but it’s a swamp cooler in only one bedroom, so the rest of the condo is still too hot and just awful. Other than that, it was fine.

Nice stay, but incredibly expensive. I would love to stay in the area for several days, but not at those prices - much better to stay in Volcano or Punaluu and drive back and forth. I found the desk clerk to be a bit blunt - she wasn’t rude at all, just not very cheery or welcoming. I also wasn’t impressed by the $15 fee to use their air-conditioning units - absolutely ridiculous to charge an extra fee considering the high accommodation charge for the apartment.

The condos were built in the 70’s and are in decent shape. The person who checked us in was warm and accommodating. Air conditioning costs $15 per day to unlock the portable units. The pool is decent but has weird rules like no games; Marco Polo or anything with a ball. The maintenance person and some people that were either investors or property managers made quite the spectacle of touring the property while we were in the pool. They were quite rude and definitely changed how we felt about the place. They argued with each other in front of us, and the maintenance manager yelled at one of my kids that wasn’t even in and hadn’t been in the pool pointing to the sign about the no Marco Polo rule. Overall, very off-putting. Checkout went fine. This place is a bit far from either of the towns nearby. You can easily walk to a nearby convenience store, but to go to town it’s a mile away. Not sure I would stay here again but the view was pretty and some of the staff were great.

The building is old, but our unit had a great ocean front view, was updated and very clean. The big negative was no air conditioning, only fans (ceiling & standing floor) and a swamp cooler that you had to pay for per day to use. It was a bit uncomfortable sleeping, not to mention how noisy the standing fans were. If you don't care about having air conditioning, then you'd probably be okay. We prefer having the comforts of air conditioning in hot humid climates.

Very nice unit with up to date features. Air conditioning is extra and they need to add another unit for it to be comfortable. Very nice receptive staff. Very comfortable. Appliance are new but low end. Pool Is amazing and salt water right on ocean.
