Vermillion Vacation: A Comfy Home Away From Home - Pet Friendly

Our private suite is in the lower level of our home in the charming town of Kanab. You will have a private entrance next to your parking space. There's a porch to relax on after your adventures to watch the sun glow off the red rock cliffs or to enjoy a morning coffee. You will be close to hiking trails, restaurants, & Jacob Hamblin City Park. Your private parking space can fit two cars; additional parking for boats, UTVs, etc is available. Two separate bedrooms, spacious living area & a roomy restroom. Large, south facing windows provide plenty of sunshine to fill the spaces. Includes 5G fiber internet and a Roku TV to help you stay connected if you so wish. The kitchen is stocked with the a refrigerator, air fryer, toaster, microwave, Keurig with coffee/tea/cocoa and fixings (sugar/ creamer), spices, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, and a 2-burner stove. If there is anything you need, we are happy to provide anything we can.
Pets: We love to host well behaved pets! We have tie-out available for them to safely enjoy being on the porch with you. Please pick up after them. Pet MUST be attended by an adult at all times in the house or yard. When booking with a pet, please give us details of your pet(s). We strive to maintain a clean space for our guests so we do request that pets not be allowed on the furniture or bedding. If your fur baby is insistent on being glued to your hip, please or use the provided pet sheets and towels to protect the upholstery and bedding.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and a stovetop. There's a private patio. Very nice place for a family of 4/5. Surronded by red rocks, you get a wonderful view of the mountains during sunrise and sunset. Very close to zion and bryce national parks. Host is very friendly.

Two-day Stay
Space was perfect for me and my husband. I needed to teach via Zoom one evening. I moved a small table into a bedroom so my husband could have the rest of the place to himself. I forgot my phone stand and noticed there was a stand on the desk. That was a much appreciated detail! We didn't bring pets, but despite it being pet-friendly and me having cat allergies, I had no symptoms and detected no pet odors. Couch was comfy. Friendly people--by the way, we made it to the Wave!!! Would stay again!

Just plain FABULOUS!
It is hard to imagine a better place to stay in a home that you share with the hosts. It was perfect! You have the entire roomy downstairs, plus a lovely deck and grassy yard to watch the sunset with your dog. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood close to a number of trails and with easy access to the rest of Kanab. It is well and thoughtfully appointed ... everything you could need is already there. The host was super responsive and a wonderful person as well. We highly recommend this place.

Nice view of mountains. If it wasn’t so hot would have stayed out longer on the front chairs to enjoy my coffee. House was clean. Private entrance below hosts home. Cutlery could use an upgrade and a mixing bowl would have been good and maybe a blender for smoothies but otherwise kitchen well stocked. Queen bed very comfortable. Bottom of bunk bed a bit too soft. Shower great water pressure. Overall a great place to stay. Owner was available and responsive.

Works for me.
We only used it as an overnight bed before hiking in Zion, zero issues. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. We didn’t use living room or kitchen. Worked perfect for what we needed and we didn’t have to pay the hotel rates for the area.

Perfect little place!
This was a perfect little property for the four of us to come back to after our adventures in the beautiful Utah desert. The space was cool, clean and welcoming with a lovely view of the mountains in a safe neighborhood! Irene was a wonderful host who was easy to communicate with. She left snacks (which my hungry boys enjoyed) and a binder full of beautiful hiking opportunities! While we didn’t have any of our fur babies with us, they are pet friendly which is nice to see for those who get to travel with their pups. If we ever find ourselves back in Kanab, I would definitely stay at Irene’s place again! Thank you Greg and Irene!

Very nice rental located on the lower floor of the residence. The owners are on site on the upper floor, but they were quiet and we didn't even notice they were there. They do have a dog, but other than the owners letting it into their backyard (guests do not have access to that), we hardly noticed it either. Owner responded fairly quickly when I texted her a message pertaining to arrival time. Overall, a very good experience.

Perfect Homebase for a Tour of the Colorado Plateau
This cut 2-bedroom mother-in-law apartment in Kanab was a perfect jumping off point for our Thanksgiving break tour of the Colorado Plateau (Zion, Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon National Parks and more). For a low-maintenance family, it was equipped with everything we needed and the hosts were very responsive. We even checked in to find a gift of yummy treats, including homemade banana bread. Highly recommend!

Incredible host and impeccable hospitality!!
Irene was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to truly make us feel like we were staying at our home away from home. We traveled with our 2 yr old pup Pablo and she blew us away with a special welcome sign just for him, a dog bed all ready for him to catch some zzz's and even left him a few special treats. So thoughtful! She didn't stop there.... she literally thought of everything to make us feel comfortable too; from extra toiletries, a fan for sleeping and even coffee to get the day started. The list goes on! Such a gracious host! HIGHLY recommend this great little spot to anyone traveling through Kanab, UT.
