Everything was great--the staff in particular were great, but room was clean, amenities were great. I'm not sure I know how to use Japanese washer-dryer properly, in fact that was a new device for me. I wish I had had a chance to use the public bath! Next time!

We stayed for 2 nights while in Kanazawa. PROS: Only 5 minute walk to Shinto Shrine and around 15 minute walk from Omicho Market and Nagamachi Samurai District. The area has easy access to the main train station, 15-20 minute walk. Many dining options around, but not a lot to choose from and some good ones require reservations beforehand. The staff is very helpful, accommodating and professional. Room was very spacious enough for 2 people and their carry-ons (not like the tiny rooms of APA Hotels that can hardly fit 1 person) and they were very clean and tidy. The water pressure of the shower is very good. CONS:: The mattress and the pillows were a bit firm, so they weren't the most comfortable ones, even though I travel to Japan often and I am used to different types of mattresses. The bedroom windows had a wall in the middle which made the room seem darker even when there is daylight, & prevented from full window views, but I guess that is the architecture of the building overall. I recommend it to anyone looking to visit Kanazawa, but don't stay more than 2-3 nights since there isn't much to do in Kanazawa overall.

Great location, lovely and large variety with the breakfast, nice onsen, laundry machines (although only 2 so it was really busy), comfortable room (but they don't have drawers!), clean, friendly and yes-- it had amenities. Very friendly staff. A very nice gift was given to us for celebrating our honeymoon. The hotel is in a great area - most of the major attractions in the city are within walking distance.
