The rudest people at the front desk I have ever encountered in a hotel. Despite having do not disturb on the doorknob they came in anyway. A chair only had three legs, big filthy stains all over the carpet, no towel racks in the bathroom, no hand towels in the hotel, a lamp with nowhere to plug it in just sitting on the side table, something that looks like a smeared booger on the wall which anybody could have removed was really gross. The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hallways and seeping under the cracks of the non-smoking rooms was horrible. Even the thin scratchy towels and wash rags had a smell of smoke on them, as did any item we had in the room. Thread bare holes in the curtains.

Staff is great, but nothing else is. It’s noisy. The room smells. The room looks nothing like the photos. It actually looks more like a school building than a hotel. My room is close to the front so there is a lot of foot noise on concrete floors, which are what the hallways are. At least it’s by the freeway I guess.

While staff was nice the room itself and hallways are nasty. As soon as I walked in all you could smell was smoke and marijuana. Floors felt disgusting. Room gave off a musty gross smell. Stained carpets. Holes in the top spread on the bed. I would say this hotel was about a 2/10 stay.

Some coworkers and I was returning to KC from a business trip. There was a Chiefs Game and Nascar race going on, open rooms were very hard to come by. We had limited options for rooms this late at night. We showed up to check in approx 10pm. There were 3 cop cars in the parking lot with two individuals being handcuffed and sitting on the curb. Entering the front lobby, the place reeked of pot. Looking down the halls from the front desk, there was a haze of smoke along with very dim lighting. The front desk has 1" thick bullet proof glass between the desk clerk and the lobby. An armed security guard was stationed in the front lobby. We immediately turned around and walked out and forfeited our room fees.
