HISTORY: Designed as the nation’s first suburban shopping district for the automobile, the Country Club Plaza was the vision of developer J.C. Nichols. Seeking to create a real estate development that captured the allure of Spanish marketplaces, Nichols purchased several small lots of land in a swampy and undeveloped area in 1907 and opened the Plaza’s first buildings in 1922. Originally nicknamed “Nichols’ Folly,” the Country Club Plaza’s Moorish architecture now features more than $1 million in artwork, comprised of the district’s fountains, murals and more than 30 statues.

This is a shared building with a controlled access entry to the building and the condo itself.

You will walk directly into the living room from the front door and are immediately met with the feeling of home AND an amazing view! This home has a large sectional couch to sprawl out on and relax or catch up on a good book. The living room also features a large Smart TV for streaming all your favorite shows.
The kitchen has all your cooking essentials and dinnerware along with stainless steel appliances. This home has concrete countertops and plenty of space to prepare those meals! There is a dining table to accommodate four and a large island with barstools to accommodate four! Basic cleaning products are provided along with dish and hand soap. A full coffee bar which includes a drip coffee maker, Keurig machine, pour over and a French press as brewing options as well as coffee grounds, creamer and sugar!
The master bedroom features a luxurious king size bed so you can get the best night sleep. Other features include: bed side tables, charging stations, ceiling fan, TV, dresser and a private on suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with a private on suite bathroom!
The master bathroom includes a spa tub, separate stand up shower and double sinks! The second bathroom has a standing shower only and no tub. The host provides Tommy Bahama luxury bath products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. You will receive one large bath towel and one wash cloth per guest, hand towels and dark make-up towels for convenience.
The condo building has a gym available for guests use!

Street parking available and you won't need to use your car again! The Nelson-Atkins Museum is right across the street which offers plenty of scenic walking and the Plaza is one block. If you are wanting to check out other areas of Kansas City Uber, Lyft and the Kansas City Street Car are all viable transportation options if you prefer not to drive.

There is no designated parking for this condo, all parking is street parking on a first come first serve basis.
Parking may be limited due to unforeseen events at the Plaza and Nelson Atkins Museum near by.
*Cancellation Policy
Full Refund: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund.
50% Refund: Cancel 7 to 30 days before check-in to receive a 50% refund for all nights.
No Refund: Cancel less than 7 days before check-in and the full amount will be charged. Cleaning fee will be refunded.
