Room was very clean, bed was ok but could use more firmness. Couch looked comfy but it wasn’t… Property location was closely located to KU Med and this convenient in regards to my reason for being in KC. However the property was a little scary after dark due to the location and neighborhood.

My last stay in Kansas City at a different hotel was not the greatest. Me and my husband chose this one just for the fact that it already looked nicer room wise compared to the last hotel. Everything is gorgeous and room is bigger than expected. My only frustration is that I’m here getting check ups for my cancer and I had booked a 2 bed bedroom nothing special. We had some last minute changes to people coming day of (one of my kids couldn’t make it in time) and I had no help from the front desk at all on just a simple room change.

I paid for the extra person, but the extra linens were not put into the room or provided at check-in. The breakfast was very good. I did not remember that the parking fee was explained at check-in.

The only complaint I have is if you're on the side of the bed close to the AC unit be prepared to have the air blowing directly on you. We didn't see any way to redirect the airflow so I slept with a pillow on that side so it wasn't blowing directly in my face. Other than that, ZERO complaints. Thomas at the front desk was the kindest front desk attendant I've ever met, and I've been to a lot of hotels over the years. And the breakfast was probably the best my family has ever had as well. Would definitely return!
