This family who runs the property goes the extra mile to keep everything clean in your room and around the entire property. They their own parking area just behind which is nice if you have a car as parking is a problem in the area. Its right across the street from a nice beach and they have their own beds and umbrellas if you so choose. The rooms are huge and we had a usable kitchen. The nicest part is the friendly and kind family and the best breakfasts we've had in 3 weeks in Greece. I highly recommend this little gem.

A lovely small, modern hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and it has views overlooking the beach.

This place was phenomenal. It’s location is right in front of the beach and includes chairs and umbrellas. It seems to be a small family run business and they were all so kind and outgoing. It’s a short (less than 5 minute) and easy walk to the port restaurants and stores or can stay on beach front and eat there. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Crete, I would definitely be staying at this place.

Peaceful hotel with beautiful sea views and staff!
Maria and family are so friendly and accommodating. We had great communication prior to arrival and were greeted by Maria on arrival. Maria gave us great recommendations for restaurants and explained the amenities of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and rooms are very spacious. The shower had great pressure and the partial sea view from our private balcony was exceptional especially during sunset. There is a lovely 2nd floor terrace to enjoy the sea view and is where you will eat the delicious breakfast in the morning. We wish we had spent more time at the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we are able to return to this slice of heaven.

Residence was great, very romantic. Sadly we arrived after the winery was closed. Must call tenant ahead of time to schedule arrival. Only concern we had is that the power went out around 6am, which caused two blinding emergency light bars to illuminate the room. Power remained off until we left.

It was a perfect location where the beach is just a few steps away. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas as part of their service and we had a delicious breakfast included on the rooftop of the hotel with a view of the beach. We arrived later than check in and they provided instructions in an email on our room number and WiFi and how to get into our room. The room was spacious, had a couch, a very cute balcony and kitchenette. The town is small, very charming and very lively at night. the hotel is within walking distance of pretty much everything. We loved our stay and would recommend it to not only couples but families as well.

Amazing hostess who was super nice and helpful to us. She was figuring out if we could get a refund because we left early but I don't know what happened to that. The weather was nice and the location was nice. Palaiochora is very beautiful and has nice beaches.

Perfect location and excellent room.
Blue Horizon is in my favorite location in Palaiochora, overlooking the sandy beach. It is in a quiet position only a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants in the busy part of town. An brilliant extra that comes with the room is that you can use the sunbed and umbrellas on the beach opposite. The rooms are immaculate with gorgeous balconies looking out to sea. All the beds were really comfy and adult sized, even though we used the sofa bed and another extra bed. The staff were really helpful. They gave us advice on where to find secluded beaches by bike. There is lots of choice for breakfast and lots of breakfast if you want it. The breakfast is provided on a tray to eat on your balcony using the crockery and cutlery from the rooms kitchenette.
