The Grand York was fabulous. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The concierge service was exceptional, Nigel and Joseph were standouts. Our absolute favorite staff member was Rob, our waiter in the restaurant. He was helpful, friendly, fun, and just had an amazing presence and demeanor. You all need to hang onto him and Nigel. Great friendly, clean hotel.

Had a two night Stay here with friends and my sister for her birthday. On arrival, the concierge team were so helpful and friendly, along side checking in. I paid for bed and breakfast, the breakfast was amazing and the choices were fantastic too. Didn’t have dinner here as explored much of York, so can’t comment on that. Everyone were so friendly, said hello and always complimentary. We will be coming back here.

Grand Hotel 17-18/08/25

Excellent staff- welcoming and professional with a very friendly attitude: couldn’t do more to help. Decided to change my booking to an Executive room which was more spacious and worth the difference. The hotel has a lovely ambience. Had some friends come round as part of birthday celebrations. Pool not available due to refurbishment but was told in advance & didn’t spoil our stay.
