Property needed renovation. It’s in the process of renovation. There is limited dining room. There is limited bar space , some of the fixtures and fittings in the bedrooms and bathrooms of poor. I really need replacing but they are off to a degree working on it but it’s got a long way to go.
The hotel was perfectly situation to Stoneleigh Park. However, it was clear that the hotel was being renovated. Our room was small with some type of arabic writing, or similar, on the furniture. The restaurant was closed and we ate in the bar. Very short of staff who did their best. Looking at the history of this hotel, maybe it should have been closed, renovated and reopened when ready to accept paying guests.
They have no accommodation standards. ..
Deplorable conditions! Somebody was drilling into a wall behind my bedroom window at 8.30 am . Avid at all costs

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
It is not that bad as described in the previous review. The hotel is quite old and furniture are old, but the room is big and clean. TV/Shower is working properly which is good. There is air con. The bathroom has been refurbished.
So everything functions properly.
Restaurant is open with varieties, although I didn’t try.
Was given an upgraded room which was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Lookslike the whole place is being given a makeover, which will be good.
Great parking and staff very polite and helpful. Good value.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities
Good points the hotel was clean,
inexpensive and convenient for the showground.
Bad
Pours the corridors were cold.
Curtains falling off the rail in my room and the dominant colour was brown.
The bathroom though clean was a brown tiled
box.
My view was of a scrubby building site for a patio. Okay just about for a night but for
but will not return.
A few of us checked in for a couple of nights for an exhibition nearby.
Easy and convenient location.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. With food available for both evening meals and breakfast.
The best thing about the hotel though is the staff.
Albert is awesome. Probably the most honest and friendly host you will meet. He is an asset to the hotel and hopefully he is greatly appreciated…
absolutely FANTASTIC
I stayed here during an event at Stoneleigh park, the hotel is only a few minutes drive away.
The hotel is under renovation but this has no impact on the stay. Albert at the reception was fantastic, great conversation and customer service. One of the best reception chats I've ever had!
The room was clean and tidy, I will stay here again next year.
