Ketchikan Trip
Most everything was great. We did have some inconvenient water pressure issues, but owner took care of it as soon as they could. Clean, with a great view of the ocean. The one bedroom is a little noisy with the house right on the main road.

Gorgeous view; pics do not do justice
Perfect place to stay around Ketchikan. Generously sized private apartment with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a pull-out couch bed. We visited for about a week in July. As was our luck or lack thereof, it was an odd rainless week in Ketchikan and extremely sunny. As a result, although it was cool outdoors, it was necessary to open all the windows and doors open during the day to keep it cool. The road is busy so if you open the windows to keep it cool, it may be a bit noisy. At night however we were cool without having to keep windows/doors open. Overall it was a very pleasant place to stay and we would certainly recommend it.

This location was great for our family vacation. The property had everything we needed. The owners had plenty of towels, extra toiletries and even some snacks in the kitchen. It was easy to communicate with the owners as well. The view is incredible. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was wonderful. The view was magnificent. The place was clean and very comfortable. It wasn't pretentious but it wasn't shabby chic either. The fee was more than reasonable too. We highly, highly recommend staying here!

Ketchikan Get away
This two bedroom cozy home with water views of nearby islands, Prince of Whales was a great place for our family of four. Damion and Christina provided everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The North side of the island is incredibly beautiful with easy access to come great hiking trails and local Ketchikan beaches. Damion checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and to answer any questions along the way. We highly recommend this VRBO and would definitely stay with our family again!

Well maintained, the view is beautiful, fully stocked with essentials, away from the tourist side of town. Curtains cover over the windows could reduce pm heat.

The perfect place
The perfect place for the sportsman. Damian has a good knowledge of the area and the sea. For us he gave good suggestions of where to go fish. He also provided a freezer for our catch.

Awesome Views
The view from the deck is absolutely beautiful. The first night we were there, we watched whales. Then if you were up early enough you could see the cruise ships.

The view goes on for miles!
Stayed at the Guard Island Guesthouse with my two college-aged sons while we were fishing in Ketchikan for several days. The hosts had done a wonderful job of setting up the home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home is located about 10 miles outside of Ketchikan, so a car is more or less a necessity, but it was absolutely worth it to get away from the cruise docks. The view from the back deck across the Inside Passage really cannot be beat!
