This was our favourite stop of our honeymoon around Ireland. The property is breathtaking, the food is delicious with lots of options, and the staff there is top notch. Shout out to Megan at the front desk, she was fantastic and incredibly helpful and friendly. We will certainly recommend this hotel to everyone we know and plan to come back again! Cheers

Hotel was great! Views were incredible and the staff was friendly and welcoming! Had live music as well which was great and we had dinner there as well which was very delicious! Will definitely stay here again!

We were very shocked and disappointed that they swapped our booked lake view room to a no visitor ew ordinary room and charged us the same price for the lake view room. After so many hours driving we thoroughly got we came to a zen resting place. After Expedia’s partial help they “upgrade” us to a large parking lot view room and eventually next night to a “lake view” in the far far end. Can’t say how stressed we were. Sad

This property had the dreamiest vistas of old castle ruins by the lake. The hotel bar and restaurants offered many options, including items for vegetarians. Close proximity to Muckross Abbey and Estate. Above and beyond expectations!

This hotel stay was just what we needed in the midst of a busy travel schedule. The grounds are stunning and the hotel is out side of the city hustle and bustle. Nestled on the stunning lake with breathing views. The room we stayed in was large and spacious with a tub and balcony. This is a must stay in Killarney.

The Lake Hotel Killarney is a must stay. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the hotel itself are all top notch. We stayed in 5 different accommodations in Ireland and this was by far the best.

This is not just a hotel - it’s a place steeped in history and you become part of it by staying here. Great service, love having the restaurant on site, beautiful live Irish music, and a view of the lake that can’t be beat. Wish we were staying a week instead of a night!

Beautiful stay at the Lake Hotel with views into Killarney national park. The Castlelough restaurant was spectacular and the included breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean. Highly recommend for visiting Killarney

Lovely hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with gorgeous views. Breakfast was fantastic and great musicians playing in the evenings. They also make great cocktails. We just had one evening meal there which was quite disappointing, chicken wings and seafood linguini were both very bland. We might have just got unlucky with our choice. Love the work the hotel is doing to be more sustainable, particularly replacing water in the rooms with water stations around the hotel. However, I was shocked and disappointed to see disposable coffee cups left out for guests to take from the restaurant after breakfast given Killarney is working so hard to replace disposal cups with keep cups. The only time I saw a disposable cup while in Killarney was around the hotel. Easy to solve, just have keep cups with a deposit for guests.
