Spacious, comfortable room at a reasonable price.
The good: This property has direct access to the "Windham Path," which is a two mile walking trail. Unfortunately, much of the path is not shaded, so in this Summer's heat it was very uncomfortable.
The included breakfast was just ok, but the chocolate croissant were great.
The room on the mountain side had a relaxing view, even if it was more of a tree view.
Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating.
The not so good:
Much of the property seems worn out and needing repair. The screen on the sliding door couldn't stay in its track, making it hard to open and close.
There isn't an elevator, so if you have trouble taking your luggage up a flight of stairs you should request a first floor room. Fortunately, there are only two floors of rooms.
The ice machine in the lower lever doesn't seem to work very well, with the ice sitting in a pool of water. The refrigerator in our room didn't stay cool,
The common areas didn't appear to be air conditioned, so they were very hot and humid during the day.
