I had a very enjoyable stay and appreciated the attentive service, the gracious reception rooms and the gorgeous gardens and the delicious breakfast. My room was very attractive and comfortable especially the bed. I slept very well. The room could have been a bit warm but a fan and an operable window ensured it was cool enough at night. The bright modern bathroom was well appointed. And views from sitting areas were beautiful. Thanks so much!

The property is historic and has been lovingly restored and maintained. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and the garden is delightful. There are however a lot of stairs to get to the bedrooms which might matter to some people, and the soaps & shampoo have a very strong fragrance which I didn't like. The scone was the best part of breakfast.

Beautifully decorated, stately elegant home for a relaxing time in historic Kingston. Great location for walking to shops/restaurants on Princess Avenue. Would prefer the dispensers to be less FORCEFUL, as the lovely Wellington Soap products are all quite viscous. Gorgeous 4poster bed in McKay Suite. See you again, when the garden is blooming!

Beautiful property; we were in the MacKay room and enjoy the spacious room, delicious breakfast and the staff are wonderful. We left our car parked and walked to everything. Dining choices abound. I would recommend this to adults and save time to relax on the porch.
