Our stay at the Secret Garden was just what we needed after 10 days of travels. From the miment we arrived on the island to the moment we left, the staff were so helpful and attentive. The room was exactly as it was in the photos and had great touches such as the bag for the beach towels and the pot for washing sand off our feet. The restaurant has a diverse menu and caters well for vegetarians / vegans but my only complaint would be that while the quality of the food was great, it lacked flavour and was a little bland

We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return!

We had a wonderful five nights at this hotel. It is ideally located on an amazing white beach that is quite and does not have lots of backpackers and bars. The staff were excellent and sorted out a number of issues we had with our travel arrangement. Finally Koh Rong is definitely worth visiting for a relaxing and rejuvenating break. Could not sleep the first night (Thursday). Some people talked loudly between 11:00 PM and 3:30 AM. However the next day was quiet.

Koh Rong is quiet but the Hill Beach Resort is located near the more popular area of Long Set beach. Probably nicer places along the other beach but your stuck far away from shops and restaurants. The resort and staff were lovely and I think its the pick on the island. They have their own jetty which the main ferry line drop you off at.
