It was a bit different. You don't feel like you are in a hotel but more of an aparrment. There is no reception and if you are looking for room service then this is not the hotel for you. Checking in gets done in the restaurant next door. You check in with the hostess at the restaurant. However, it is clean and comfortable in a beautiful historic building. There are plenty of pubs around and we felt safe walking around in the evening. All in all it worked for us and we would recommend it. We didn't mind having no elevator but it might be difficult for some.
