Awful service. Toddlers bed with no linen. Toddler meal ordered before adult main but arrived after adult main due to them forgetting to make it. Taking toddler to bed overtired after waiting so long for the meal. Asked to bill the meal to the room but room phone called serval times chasing for payment. Followed up by a visit with a card machine to the room. Toddler not able to sleep with all disturbance. Probably the most insensitive awful service we have ever received.

Meal choices were great. However sometimes served cool and not hot as expected. If wishing to use their swimming pool, you have to pay! The floor In dining room was not as clean as expected and a waiter slipped on spillage which had not been cleaned up. Expected more considering the costs involved!

A Crap stay
I've stayed here a couple of time's for work functions but this time, booked it myself. Sadly, the hotel is outdated and relies on its reputation as being a spa to attract regular business people staying over. I had hoped to makke use of the leisure facilities but didnt feel very well. When i went to the toilet in tbe room, it had a brown mark on tbe toilet seat which i was able to wipe away but no guesding what it was. Time was against me, so no time to go down to reception and complain. I looked everywhere for some water and some milk to make a cuppa but nothing in the room. I later went out for tea and then when i returned, thought, shall i say anything re the toilet seat but decided against it as there were other guests there. I did ask about the water and milk and was told that it was self service in the corridors. Not what you expect for 4 star. The bed was really comfy so thankful i had a good sleep but felt left down.

1. Evening Food was good but very dissapointing portion sizes making it expensive Breakfast chef failed to cook eggs properly on both days of my stay 2. No safe in the bedroom 3. No drawers in the bedroom 4. Excellent SPA and gym facility 5. No facility to pay cash at checkout - poor

Four star hotel exactly
Positives - clean and large room - great and friendly service - great black out blinds - our room was incredibly quiet esp that close to the airport - very close to Knutsford - nice inside amenities - drinks reasonable (not cheap but decent for a hotel) - good food portions both at breakfast and in purchased bar snacks Negatives - paying for access to a fitness suite in a modern hotel is a clear money grab. And the cost (15 pound per person for two days) was more than cost on website (10 pounds). - there is a very busy road right outside so it’s got a nice patio area but poor views and noise level - not that that’s the hotels fault! - is quite dated as a hotel. Spotless clean but not modern - bathrooms and showers designed for elderly (hand rails, fabric curtains, in bath, unmovable shower heads) as opposed to tall adult men. Powerful shower but not comfortable for me at six foot Overall four out of five stars - exactly as advertised as a four star hotel.

I booked for one night and then added a second night on as my plans changed leading up to a wedding, Karen was super helpful and able to link my booking to save me vacating my original room. This made my stay a lot more comfortable and the staff were super friendly in the corridors saying hello! Room was cleaned whilst I was at the wedding. Lovely white stuff products in the bedrooms!
