The view from the beach bungalow was great, the seclusion was also nice. However, the service was lacking (cleaning was not detailed, grimey doorknobs, dog poo on the porch, bird poo on the loungers, sandy rooms) and the facilities could have been better (the beach loungers were old and the cushions kept sliding off, uneven concrete slabs, rusty metal thing on the beach (??), cigarette butts everywhere in the sand, tiny swimming pool, mosquitoes everywhere- no repellent provided for the room, super sandy rooms resulting from no broom or effective mat to keep the sand out, and spotty internet).
That being said, it wasn't horrible. There's no way to control the type of guests that will stay at the same time, but all the aforementioned things plus rowdy and obnoxious guests made for an off-putting experience.
There are also no phones in the rooms for you to call the front desk, so if you were out on the north side of the property, you had to walk over to the front desk every time to ask for anything. In addition, whenever we asked for assistance, the staff seemed reluctant to help and unwilling to go the extra mile (unusual for Thai resorts). The price didn't seem worth it for all the little issues that kept popping up.
