Lovely Central hotel
Amazing hotel, room was spacious enough for two people with ample storage. Staff are what make this hotel; so friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for train station, short walk to main square and about 15-20 minutes to Jewish quarter. We will be returning to Amber for our next visit!

Hard to have a better review. The staff was truly outstanding! Monika was particularly helpful with an issue I had with the train coming to Krakow. However, others helped with restaurant selections. Quiet area easily walkable in the old city. Just total class. Also, liked the sauna, which I took advantage of one night, Excellent! Would be back in a heartbeat. They have a modern system for accessing your room through a code. Honestly, it worked well.

Very good service and spotlessly clean Reception staff very welcoming and helpful 2minute walk to main square and walking distance to wawel castle and the Jewish quarter Room spacious and spotlessly clean Breakfast at a nearby cafe was lovely and we included it in our stay Hotel arranged transfers for us to and from the airport also and arranged a breakfast to go on our last morning as we would miss breakfast due to an early flight All in all brilliant stay and we will definitely be back

Our stay at the Amber Design Residence was lovely. The room was very clean, the staff were more than helpful and welcoming and the location was just right. It was close enough to walk down a couple of roads to get to the main square but far enough out that it remained quiet at night. The park that surrounds the Old Town was on our doorstep and made for a nice walk. The breakfast was not on site but only a couple of minutes walk to a cafe. This was excellent with an enjoyable vibe. The servings were of a good size and set you up for the day ahead. The cakes available were also the best we had in Krakow. Only thing we would say about the room was it was quite hot. I was given a remote by the reception staff to activate the air con which worked well but was too noisy to sleep through. My partner would've liked more coffee and milk in the room and we found that the bath towels were a bit on the short side. Minor things really for an otherwise lovely stay. We would recommend and would more than likely stay here again if we revisited Krakow in the future.

Amber Design Hotel.
Stayed here after surgery. Stylish aesthetics, black out curtains, high ceilings and good general layout for practicalities, eg, alcoves, shelving, and hooks. Large spacious bathroom. Nespresso machine with 2 complimentary pods. Comfortable bed and 2 types of bed side lights. Minimal noise transference. The colour scheme was calming and the furniture comfortable. Had only an amenic toilet paper on arrival. I understand the hotel is environmentally oriented, seeking to minimise waste, however, I think the first roll should be full for the first impressions and any half used etc., can be to the staff quarters. There are toiletries, such as lotion, pocket tissues, maybe shower caps not sure, by the foyer elevator but this wasn't shared during check-in nor did i see a sign in the room. However, it is a good idea. There is complementary tea and coffee in the foyer, an impactful gesture similar to PURO Hotels. However, this wasn't shared at check-in, nor was it in the description of the booking site. Knowing this in advance could also determine choosing to stay. Having booked a suite that had microwave in the description and pictures, I'd have liked for the amenities to already be in the room or informed at check-in that it can be added. I do understand to only give on request as some may book suites and not want the cooking facilities. Reception staff friendly, helpful, and efficient. Breakfast in a nearby cafe, which is prefered over the typical Polish breakfast offering.

What a truly lovely hotel! The accommodation was excellent, extremely clean and in the perfect location for a visit to the beautiful city of Krakow. All the staff were so very helpful and welcoming…nothing was too much trouble and they made our visit all the more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!
