Outstanding value. Located on the ocean with good snorkeling and sunsets. Carlos, the manager is very attentive to making sure everything is going well. Great outdoor seating, including cabanas, small pool. Comfortable room. I couldn’t have hoped for more. Very close to the airport and the town (very few flights so very little noise.).

We were a group of four and booked two rooms. The manager/chef/hosts was so great to us. We all agreed this was the best hotel from our ABC Island trip. We we catered to the whole time. The gentleman from the bar was also delightful. We seemed to be the only ones staying for the first 2 days so it felt very intimate. We loved it!! Beautiful place and views for days. Food was also amazing.

Huge potential. Very well located, beautiful design. But maintenance is insufficient. Rooms are very clean, but the rest of the property less so. Service lousy. A pity - with a competent staff this could be a first rate hotel.

Welcome to Paradise
I cannot recommend this quaint, quiet, relaxing and friendly staffed hotel enough. I spent two nights here and it was total paradise. if you're looking for easy dive access, quiet, good food from chief Carlos, comfortable daybeds to lay on and a very simple yet satisfying place to stay that has more of a boutique feel, I would highly recommend the Bonairian.

Beautiful location on the sea in boutique hotel
Loved this hotel and all of staff. Wonderful options for being in shade or sun while a few steps at hotel itself into water for snorkeling, or into hotel’s fresh water infinity pool overlookkng the sea. We were extremely happy with our choice and during our week saw nowhere we’d have preferred over this intimate hotel in a perfect, quiet location. Only improvements would have been a larger menu, and a room where cross ventilation to enjoy the balmy air would have been possible (but we suspect front window set up as it was, not to open, for security reasons). We would very happily return here, and if we return to lovely, far less touristed Bonaire, we will do so.

Nice hotel on the beach with friendly staff
My wife and I were looking for a quiet beach destination to celebrate our 30th anniversary and enjoy one of our favorite pastimes, snorkeling. A close friend who is a diver said that Bonaire was an ideal location and he was right!!! This small hotel is just minutes from the airport and you don't have to go any farther than the crystal clear ocean in front of the hotel to enjoy some great snorkeling. Afterwards you can lay down and relax under the covered palapas and the staff will bring your favorite beverage. The owner of the hotel answered all of our questions (i.e. local restaurants and recommended snorkeling locations) and he was a gracious host. We never had difficulty communicating anywhere on the Island in our native English language and it was an added benefit that the US dollar is the official currency. Most of the dive and snorkel locations on the Island are right off the beach next to the road so you need a rental car to travel from place to place. We can't wait to return!!!

Great snorkel base but a little underwhelmed
A quiet and amazingly placed hotel with a family home feel about it with only around 10 rooms. Sadly when we checked in another couple arrived to check in so we were shown to our room and left without a real explanation of how the bar/Resteraunt worked and how to get a drink or book dinner while the owner showed a Dutch couple to their room. We then went to the bar to grab a beer and find out a little more but there was no one there so after 20 minutes we left to explore the main down town area, which is only 5 minutes drive. A little sad that we were on our honeymoon and we booked a double room only to find it was two twin beds pushed together with a large gap between them, but hey. We stayed for four nights during which time out room was only cleaned on the last night, and we were asked to check out early as they were expecting "important guests" and so needed our room. On the plus side the snorkelling just outside our room was incredible as was the view. Can't comment on the food as we didn't know how to book or even how to see a menu.

Excellent small hotel right on the beach.
This is an excellent hotel with its own small private beach and great views of the ocean. The staff is helpful without being invasive. We stayed in a stand alone room just literally steps from the ocean and great snorkeling which also gave us a lot of privacy. The food is great albeit a bit pricey with a limited menu, however Kite City ( rated the best " restaurant " in Bonaire) is just minutes away. The rooms were immaculate. Our only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom was not bright enough.

The perfect hotel to stay in Bonaire
The hotel met all of our expectations. The location is perfect and has an espectacular deck with a nice swimming pool. The views are amazing. Lars and Mary are very nice! They made our stay very pleasent. we will visit again for sure

At Summer Dreams from New England winter
Summer Dreams was the perfect selection for me. It is a small, 6 room, resort and it felt like staying in a private home. I stayed there with my husband but he was away on business for a portion of our visit. I had no car, but I could easily walk or swim to Donkey Beach which the resort abuts. Bachelor Beach is also within walking distance. It is right on the water and the snorkeling in front of the resort is spectacular. I ate breakfast there each morning, breakfasts were additional, and the quantity and selection of food is plentiful. Our room was clean, modern, large, had a ceiling fan and AC and had a wonderful rain shower. It also had a huge closet convenient to store suitcases and gear. Lars and his staff were wonderful, helpful and Lars is an excellent chef. Dining is open air on the deck or under the very spacious veranda both overlooking the water. The resort is close to the airport, within sight, and planes arrive overhead, but I found that to be intriguing as not many flights arrive on the island.
